So, which member of AEWs imaginary roster/the Elite shows up in the Rumble match this weekend and shatters some dreams?
I say Jericho and Omega

Being that Jericho probably already signed a contract with AEW,I find it unlikely.
I think the only one I believe there is more than a 5% chance is Kenny Omega

I had a dream this week that AEW was all a giant viral smokescreen, and they're all entering WWE as a faction. Also, Simon Gotch/Grimm was a surprise member.

I'm pretty sure Omega's NJPW contract runs through the end of the month, and the rest are definitely under contract (Marty to ROH, the rest to AEW), so...

Yeah, no, that’s not how contracts work.

Also, are you implying that all the AEW stuff, including the trademarks and work with a real life billionaire family is an elaborate work to get a Rumble pop?

Most Ring of Honor contracts are pretty loose and run on the “if they don’t want to be here, don’t hold them hostage” philosophy In recent years ROH has gone after WWE for contract tampering and made WWE had to hold off on guys before, so there's no way "Oh yeah I left my ROH contract for absolutely no reason then popped into the Royal Rumble out of nowhere, ruining all plans" wouldn't open up a new can of worms.

And even if they could, if somehow that could happen, Marty’s contract expires in April anyway so the discussions would be “How do we pay off the rest of that contract?”

No one but if it’s anyone it’d be Omega

I'm gonna say Page simply because, out of all of them, he would be the least interesting and most anti-climatic guy to do it.

Yeah people who dismiss the Elite (but especially Kenny & the Bucks) dudes as not being as well known/over as they actually are is...comical.

Are the Elite any more well known that AJ Styles was when he appeared in the 2016 Rumble? I’d say that are by a lot. And his surprise entrance went over pretty well.

AJ was undoubtedly the biggest wrestling star in the world who never wrestled for the WWE prior to the Rumble. He was bigger than any of The Elite guys as they currently stand in 2019, but yeah The Elite as a collective are much bigger than AJ. I can see Kenny getting the same electric Rumble reaction as AJ did but anyone else debuting without the rest of The Elite would be considered a big letdown.

I dunno, I think Cody would be welcomed back quite loudly.

Not that anyone from The Elite is going to be in the Rumble but I'd venture that a Cody or Young Bucks appearance would get just as loud of a pop as Omega
