I thought Dolph did well this year. Yeah, honestly didn't really mind him this go-round. He played his part and didn't feel like he detracted from some of the nice stuff of the rumble, like Andrade and Ali getting to shine a bit.

Can this dude just go away I’m so sick of him trying to “work the marks” and all this garbage. Go the f*** away and stay gone

Him being in wasn't the issue, it's this "I'm DEFINITELY not gonna be in the Rumble this year marks, so don't expect it, I'm working on a tight five at Chucklef***s and absolutely WILL NOT be in the Rumble... Seriously." Shit he thinks is a great angle. Leave WWE or don't. But you can't just will yourself into being a surprise entry.

Fact that he got in the final 4 as well...yawn. There's something absolutely surreal about Dolph Ziggler having been put in the final three entrants four times in the last five Rumbles, two of those entries being at #30.
It's not that he can't manage a long showing, needs protection or is a big star who needs to be one of the last guys in the match, so just ... why does this keep happening?

Except people were into him, unlike about five people who were also in the Rumble.

Imagine wasting a Rumble spot, and way too much f***ing time on a bloated Jeff Jarrett...

He'd been promoting a comedy event that was in Phoenix (1st sign we shoulda seen this coming) last night. Was......he even there? Hell, was the event even real? Who knows? I don't know. Imagine doing that two years in a row. Imagine being a fan forum poster who said "Nah, they wouldn't do this again" a few weeks ago. Pretty sure I did that. Whoops.

Didn't bother me as Ziggler popping back up with a late draw has become such an annual thing that I've almost come to expect it. However him putting out McIntyre and making the last three were both things I would've never predicted. I really liked both him and Andrade making the final four. Something different that gave the match a more unpredictable feeling that I think it's missing over the last several years.

I can imagine it...when they want to give credit to certain people cause they don't want anyone jumping to AEW, etc.
But where was the surprise they wanted to save for the reaction? Meh, feared someone would try to talk Roman into coming back too soon. Or that Triple H used his magic wand on CM Punk finally (not really a fan).
LOL about the Whammy thing...would he be the "Who would ever hurt a Whammy?" one that gets clobbered every time with a hammer?

Eh, Ziggler is fun to watch when he's playing along with a script. He was fine last night. It's when he tries to get meta when he becomes annoying.

First WWE show I've watched for almost a year. I sighed when he came out. Killed my interest.

Being carny is fine to me but Christ he’s the boy who cried wolf at this point. Who is even “worked” at this point It was almost unanimous everywhere I saw that they knew dolph would be in the rumble because he said he wouldn’t

I thought he was going to be in the match from the start. Was he but confirmed then?
