Overshadowed a bit by Becky subsequently winning the Rumble, but a genuinely awesome match that made them both look like complete stars. Asuka in particular looks pretty damn incredible that she was able to submit someone who later on in the show was able to win the Rumble while being unable to stand up. The finish in particular was amazing.
Also I kind of love Asuka as the undeniable queen of the Rumble, winning last year's then submitting the winner of this year's.

It was the highlight of the night for me. Excellent match that was very well-wrestled (those submission counters at the end were just..*Italian chef finger kiss*) and made both Becky and Asuka look top tier.

I loved the match and the outcome. It now creates a rock paper sissors dynamic of Becky, Asuka and Charlotte.

My favorite match of the night. It's a shame that they're probably done with each other for a while, but also that means the feud won't get watered down by constant repetition. And hopefully they meet up again down the line.

I was convinced they were done with becky because she tapped, guess they played me!
I`m really happy,it is how top faces should be treated, Becky lost one match clean and put Asuka over big time, she tapped out but top faces can tap!But there is still this feeling WWE will only have people they dont care as top faces tap out.

Fantastic match. Actually felt like a fight between two women wanting to prove they're the best. I'm surprised Becky actually tapped, but it didn't hurt her any and it gives Asuka a win she's desperately needed.

Really strong opener and a much needed win for Asuka.
I might have preferred Rousey vs Banks but both matches were great.

In my opinion, they absolutely stole the show! I'm a bit surprised yet relieved that submissions are losing their stigma.

I think I can say, without hyperbole, that Asuka is a top 10(maybe 5) worker in the WWE and the best women's wrestler in company history. Just about every match of hers feels like a struggle for supremacy and has a sense of urgency. She knows when to play, when to kill and she stands out from the rest of the pack.

I get that Nia's size is her appeal, but after Asuka's performance I would've rather seen her get Nia's appearance in the Rumble.

I get that Nia's size is her appeal, but after Asuka's performance I would've rather seen her get Nia's appearance in the Rumble. I could totally see her doing a good job in a Rumble, especially after some of her interactions in the Mixed Tag Challenges, but I feel like that'd work better in a year where it wouldn't overshadow her victory. I pretty much see it going like when guys act scared of Tozawa for being this tiny intense man.

That was Vintage Asuka. Shit talking, trying to f*** your grill up and just walking with all types of swagger. This was the NXT version of Asuka that looked like she could murder everyone
Becky continues to show why she is so damn great and brought it to Asuka while continuing her own streak of just putting up great performances
The tap out was clearly to put Asuka as the main woman of SD while it did not hurt Becky in the slightest as that sub looked nasty and she lost to the better woman

Their chemistry in the ring was better than I ever could have imagined.
As far as regular matches this was easily above and beyond the MOTN.
If Becky hadn't won the Rumble this would have stolen the show.

There is a stigma that goes with tapping (and honestly I've had a hard time with it - must be a weird American thing), but Becky's proof a top face can tap and not have it hurt them. I don't know what the stats are, but I've seen her tap several times now that I think about it. HHH getting "You tapped out!" chants when he was trying to get sympathy that one time is still hilarious, though.

As Trips got more power, tapping has been presented like it is in MMA, it's not bad, it's not a coward's way to end a match. Commentary has presented it as "They got caught in a move, there was no escape, so tap out to live to fight another day."

That match is a pretty textbook example of both people coming out of the match looking like gold
