RAW goes across town from Chase Field to the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, as the Road to WrestleMania 35 officially begins!
While the Women's Royal Rumble was won by SmackDown's Becky Lynch, the Men's Royal Rumble went to Team Red, as Seth Rollins curb stomped Braun Strowman to get his pick of champion at the Showcase of the Immortals on April 7th in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Will Rollins make his decision tonight, and if so, will he go for Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, or will he cross over to SmackDown and go for Daniel Bryan?
Ronda Rousey got past Sasha Banks in one of the most physical matches of her short career so far to hold on to the RAW Women's Championship. Now the Rowdy One finds herself at the other end of the big decision - will Becky Lynch choose to go after her, or will the path be cleared for someone else to challenge Rousey at MetLife Stadium?
Brock Lesnar survived Finn Balor, and then wrecked him after the match, angered that The Extraordinary Man had hurt him during their Universal Title bout. Whatever the Beast Incarnate may or may not do tonight, has Balor written the blueprint for how to defeat him for the title, and will Seth Rollins be the one to act on Finn's work?
Nia Jax made history last night, becoming the first person to compete in two Royal Rumble matches in the same night, finishing in the final three in the Women's Match, and then stealing R-Truth's spot in the Men's Match, eliminating Mustafa Ali before falling afoul of Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio. Jax will want that momentum to continue to try and go after Ronda Rousey again, but Becky Lynch's decision could shut that down real quick.
While we didn't see EC3 or Heavy Machinery last night, we did see Lacey Evans and Nikki Cross as part of the Women's Royal Rumble Match. Will their new homes finally be determined tonight? Also, the first WWE Women's Tag Team Champions in nearly three decades will be crowned in three weeks inside the Elimination Chamber, will we find out which six teams will enter the unforgiving structure?
All this and plenty more in one of the more exciting RAWs of the year, tonight from 8/7c on USA!
