The turquoise bits actually look nice. I'd ask how it is not more environmentally conscious to just use the title belt that already exists, but I guess it glorifies the use of leather, possibly has blood diamonds, and encourages the creation of replicas, so it works for kayfabe. Also his exact quote is "I said when I became the WWE champion that I was going to change the world. But to change the world we need new symbols." "This is the new symbol of excellence. This is your new WWE championship." So the whole thing is the representation of it all that he's putting over. Makes a lot of sense, and I mean, as much as some people hate when it's said, the title belt is a prop and all, it's always just been how much reverence the show and the fans give it that determines its value, so I love that they can do this and rile up the crowd, having him "deface" it.

I hope Bray returns as a carbon copy of CJ Parker’s heel eco-warrior.
Also; Bray’s custom WWE Title was also awesome. Wish he could have used it and also not lost to Randy blanking Orton.

I hope him and his hippy followers start arriving to the ring in an electric version of one of them flower power scooby doo trucks.

This is very similar to the Straight Edge Society, just with a different issue, even have Rowan in the Gallows role. Will they get a Serena and a Mercury? For the former I think Sonya Deville would be a good match.

Bryan: Are those blood diamonds, Vince? Vince: Ahhh...the bloodiest. The two kids who found them were forced to murder each other. Wanna watch a video of the murder?

I think people dislike when the belt is called a prop more when it's seen as not all that important. The owner of the company burying the title and the idea it's needed is seen as weak because the belt should be positioned as the important top prize and involved in a proper story. Whatever's done with it within the confines of an actual story, I think, people are much cooler on. It's being disrespected in the story rather than creatively. The way it's being done here is positioning the belt as so important that the champion wants it remade in his own ideal image not necessarily out of narcissism or a desire to make the title an expression of himself, but so it can represent greatness and glory as he sees it. It's brilliant stuff in that regard, but it exists in sort of the opposite spectrum of "the belt is a prop" that I think people take umbrage with on a general level, because it's still about how the title is so important he needs to make it "better", and an actual in-universe heel move, rather than it vanishing from TV for two months and people acting like it doesn't exist

Like, lightsabers are props, Captain America's shield is a prop, you could even call the Queen of England's crown a prop if you were inclined, but there is importance attached to them, they resonate with people and help sell a story. Well, in the first two's case, maybe not so much the Queen.

Well, in the first two's case, maybe not so much the Queen. Right, but the Russos don't give an interview talking about how Captain America's shield isn't all that important and if he just goes shieldless for a few movies it's okay because whatever, it's just a prop, doesn't really matter. It might not be synonymous with worthless, but people can still use it like it is.

Hmm, I'd still prefer to see Bray as a face but Bray as a follower instead of a leader this time around might be okay. And if they ever decided to add a woman, Sarah Logan would be perfect for the stable should Riott Squad ever break up. Wasn't there some talk a while back that Harper and Bray would be returning as a team? Face Bray and Harper vs. heel Bryan and Rowan, maybe? What, and have Harper eat all the pins as always? Pass.
