Seems very similar to Telltale Batman. ... I'm going to assume this is better than that is. Telltale Batman was good, if this is better, then even better cause I went from meh to hype for this fairly quickly once the castings got started

This seems more "made for grown ups" than that Justice League Snyder Cut is.
No, Zack, you will not live that down.

That only a third of the film was shot before covid hit is disheartening, and that a lot of the rest had to be re-blocked to be safe is even more so.
But goddamn. That trailer.
Worth sticking around at least long enough to see how this turns out.

The Riddler has been my favorite Batman villain since childhood, so I cannot be more f***ing stoked for this. Incredible trailer that made me excited to see the direction they take these characters.

Thinking about it more, the eye makeup being left on is not only realistic but is also great symbolism of how even when the cowl is off, the nature of being Batman is still on him.

Love the fact that Bruce still has the eye make-up on without the cowl and doesn't just magically disappear (looking at you Batman Returns)

No idea what kind of themes this is going to go for but there’s something cathartic ‘bout Batman appropriately coming off as a loon.

It does have to be some sort of symbolism because it looks like his mask has lenses so the eye make up isn't even really needed. It is ironic.

I don't think a trailer has ever made me do such a 180 on my level of interest in a movie as this one has.

Despite having a visor on his helmet and a bandana up over his mouth and nose, Bruce still has the makeup. It's like he's wearing war paint.

By all logic, it seems like they have the Best Makeup Oscar locked up. Then again, they absolutely blew it seven years ago when Bad Grandpa lost to Dallas Buyers Club, so who knows.

Colin Farrell would play a perfect Bill Belichick from the looks of it.
