WWE asked Lawler a few days before the show if he had Honky Tonk Man's contact info. They apparently wanted Honky to be involved in the spot with Elias and Jeff Jarrett. I am holy shit, how scraping the bottom of the barrell do you have to be when you can't even get Honky Tonk Man to do a nostalgia spot anymore and have to dredge up Double J instead? ...I didn't even realize I wasn't joking. |

That punch of Becky's was definitely reminiscent of Lawler. It looked so f***ing stiff, just a straight right to the jaw. Hopefully it was as safe as Lawler's punches were.

If anything, it just begs the question of why the f*** would you keep putting this person in prominent roles, lmao? WWE is starting to get real messy between this and the Brie Bella shit last year. Vince calling King during the show is hilarious to me. I cannot imagine being on a show with an audience of a million+ people, having my phone go off and seeing Vince McMahon's name/number come up on caller ID. Seems like something they'd do for a rib, like Lawler answers the phone and Vince yells at him for taking a phone call during a show. Now I imagine Vince calling one of the commentators on every show with some dumb joke like Bart Simpson calling Moe's Tavern. |

People keep reacting to Nia, that's the real problem. She's not a talent that can't be denied, fans need to stop popping for her music or even giving her ammo on social media. Let her get a Conway pop for a couple months, no cheers, no boos, just zero reaction and her push will go away. She's not a good hand in the ring and she's terrible on the mic. WWE thinks the fan reactions are good. Those stop, WWE will stop.
Before anyone mentions Reigns, same thing applied. HE always got a pop, good or bad. They can spin a pop, they can't spin silence.
