Yeah, and according to Kevin Kelly on one of the New Beginning broadcasts, the combined CHAOS and Seki-gun/GBH/Taguchi Japan forces are nicknaming themselves "the home team", defending their turf from the reborn Bullet Club. No doubt in my mind things won't be the same pretty shortly.

I feel a little bad for CHAOS having no votes, but I mean, it'd be hard to vote for right now. Gedo and Jay gone, Beretta and Chuck Taylor gone, Ospreay and Okada both toying with their image some, the group is in major flux. Makes me wonder what they'll do to adapt.

It's another part of why I'm bummed that the Japanese talent could't get to the US for the shows this week; just based on how the New Years Dash show went I felt like there was a chance we'd be seeing Ishii and Goto moving in new directions, or at least a some new arcs (Ishii's specific storyline was "Nagata doesn't trust Ishii to do what's right if CHAOS teams up with Seki-gun"). But yeah, especially now that Beretta's leaving that just shakes it up even more. On that front, if I had to make a guess why Beretta did what he did, I'd wager that New Japan wasn't offering Chuck a contract and wanted to keep using him per appearance, instead. AEW probably had paper ready for both of them, so that was that.

Like, I'm sure NJPW would have been a bit more willing to push Trent on his own, but it doesn't sound like that's what he wants right now.

The Tongans turned on them, and Gedo and Jay White betrayed Okada to join the Bullet Club. Jay is their Ace, but maintains there is no leader, that he isn't stupid enough to think the Tongans are going to take orders from him. Tama posted on instagram saying "Jay White is now the leader of Bullet Club". I think it works, Tama doesn't have the juice to be the Ace or the leader, but he and Fale are something of kingmakers. Though really I would have liked to see White form his own brand new group. Tama is also calling himself "The Good Guy" now which I do get a kick out of so they are actually announcing him as such
But yeah Jay is the de facto leader, doesn't mean Tongans going take shit from him but the full Bullet Club is under the leadership of Jay White but everybody still has their own agenda per se

Good Guy Tama Tonga is the best gimmick in 2019. Knife Pervert is the enemy of all good people. Chaos has been subsumed into the sekigun due to the Ace Powers, which is a shame, but eventually I think it is going to end up somewhere.
That being said, I've compared notes, checked with some experts and determined that Suzuki-gun ichiban.

LIJ by a country mile. Suzuki-Gun is the only other decent group.
Good Guy Tama is the best current storyline though.

Good Guy Tama facing off with Yano is one of my favorite things in this tour.
