The wristlock transistion into a short armed lariat used prominently by NJPW’s Kazuchika Okada.
The move looks simple, but can look powerful when done right..
Wondered since they are barely any original moves, and a lot of people’s finishers are recycled, maybe a small variant to move is added, and given a new name. The Rainmaker I think has not been used by someone employed by WWE. The closest was when Seth Rollins had that move.... but he used a jumping knee to the head instead of a lariat.
So could anyone use the move?.. is there too much association to Okada?
I thought since Becky’s finisher is a submission hold... maybe she could use a secondary finisher to get a pin fall victory...

The Lass Ride is Becky's secondary finisher, I think. Not that she's won any matches with it yet.
It might work for Lars Sullivan, if he's still a thing. The Freak Accident has always sucked IMO.

I'd kind of rather nobody didn't? I actually find it pretty damn underwhelming as a finisher even when Okada does it and there aren't many people who could use it as well as he does.

Should be Harper. His Lariot finisher is already dope enough. Having him do this makes him more dangerous.

He already has that discuss Lariat so just ending the tie up and wind in like Okada can make it look even more nasty

Ariya Daivari already does a clothesline very similar to the Rainmaker.

Yep. Whenever Harper returns he could be used as a great midcard/utility main event heel so this would only increase his repertoire.

I always thought Dean should add more clotheslines to his move set, other than just the wacky line.

She won the triple threat trios match at SummerSlam a few years back with it, pinning Brie Bella. I don’t blame anyone for not remembering that, though, that was a rough time.

Man, thinking about it, a dude like Harper using a Rainmaker would make it look brutal.

No one. Cause I want them to reserve it for when Okada signs for the company:

Jinny uses it on the indies, though more as a nod to her trainer Jimmy Havoc.

I'm trying to think of people with crap finishers who need a new one. Finn Balor comes to mind.
