We're about to see a lot more fourth rung dirt sheets starting to kick around lots of made up junk gunning for hits, because they want to be the first to a "scoop" and contract signings are a more interesting topic now than they've been in forever. This is only going to get more prevalent and irritating as the months go on.

Some of it is going to be entirely wholesale made up or at best, educated guesses, some of it will be not properly vetted sources, and some of it is probably going to be people in the industry feeding dirt sheets bad info, either for their own benefit or just to f*** with people.

I mean, it's possible that AJ isn't being honest for whatever reason, stuff like that happens all the time in regular news media...but yeah, this isn't exactly something like the BBC or the New York Times having a major report and the subject of said report denying it, it's a D-tier newz site, so I doubt it.
