I second that emotion. Mainly because this season feels more drawn out than other seasons because of the Edge Of twist. Technically we've only had 2 castmembers eliminated totally from the game. Like I want to look up when the finale night is, so that I at least know when this season ends.

I feel like most of the cast came to play. However, the EoE twist and unbalanced editing totally kills everything. This endgame is going to be BORING because we know very little about the remaining players. And how well is a 13 person jury going to pan out?

It just goes to show how little all the twists are actually needed. If you cast people who want to play, then that's all that really matters. Idols, swaps, gimmicks... they all just dilute the cast in one way or another.

Not only have all these people came out here playing hard all these new players are pretty entertaining(maybe not so much Lauren and Gavin although they are likeable) when they haven't been ignored. I swear most of these noobs are being punished for taking out beloved Production vets, and not just taking them out in epic ways they blindsided 2 of them with idols and basically called out David for being full of **** at the tribal they sent him home

This season has been okay, I suppose. Definitely enjoying it more now than I did in the first few episodes. I'm happy we finally have a set of newbies who noped out of dealing with returning players and their BS altogether. It still has the chance to go to complete shit in these final weeks, though.
The thing is, with all of the flip-flopping and general fluidity of the group dynamics, this could've been so much better if the EoE twist weren't there. Something like Kelly's boot would've been way more meaningful if it meant she were out of the game for good. The editing probably would've been less all over the place, too.

So who do we want Devens to vote off tonight with his idol?
Aurora or Ron?

Devens is gonna Ben his way to the end, isn't he?

Devens is gonna Ben his way to the end, isn't he? If he gets to the finals, they can’t deny him the win. What a bad night for Ron, he got cute with the expired advantage and Devens blew up his spot hardcore, I’m honestly surprised Ron bothered taking the torch, he has to know he could never win after that.

Devens is gonna Ben his way to the end, isn't he? I think the Facebook type fans(Ozzy,Joe and Russell are the best to ever) type's would all be rooting for him ala Ben if he was actually winning. I think he is just a jury threat distraction. Lauren and Gavin still look strong as possible winners,Aurora's probably too underedited but she has been given a lot of credit for things and treated competent.

She was spared from the brunt of the negativity tonight as much as she could’ve been and even in the pre-merge when she wasn’t attending Tribal, they always inserted confessionals from her even when it wasn’t necessary. Jeff even justified her outburst at that chaotic Tribal. If she doesn’t win, I think she’s at least a good bet for final 3.

I like how Devens did all he could to garner sympathy for himself as an 'underdog' when in reality he's the most dangerous person left in the game (came back from Extinction, and now is always the go-to vote at tribal, and the easy winner in a Final 3 judging by jury reactions). If he has bamboozled Lauren and Victoria into voting his way now that Julie stupidly left her extra vote on the table tonight (I would've had a backup plan with Ron to split votes between Devens majority and then Victoria/Lauren to protect Ron but they were too high on their own cunning play with the fake Advantage Menu) Devens has an edge into the game to make it to Final 3 since Jules/Gavin are gonna be forced together out of necessity the next vote if Devens/Lauren/Victoria win Immunity next game.
If I were Lauren or Victoria I'd want to take Julie to F3 since she's possibly blown up her game pulling that stunt with Ron, but Devens already got them to vote out Ron so if he has another HII as hinted at in the previews they have no choice but to side with him to survive till F3. At that point it's academic and Devens is gonna win-- unless they would rather try their luck against Joe or whoever else gets back in the game from Extinction Round 2.
I completely have neglected Aurora because she repulses me and anybody that would vote for Aurora to win the game is a braindead non-gamer-- and as said before in this thread many times there are too many Gamers this season to reward Aurora for her boneheaded playstyle. She has no shot to win this game, I can't imagine anybody giving her a vote at F3, but heck she might make it to the final episode sliding through every tribal council and voting for whoever the majority tells her to vote for. She's dead in the water.
Well Played, Devens.

it felt like the editing was really weird this episode. immunity challenge was only showed for like two minutes? and when did they stop announcing that tree mail has showed up? wheres the sweet intro with all their names and whatnot?
i know a few of those things have been excluded the last few seasons, and i'm not going to be like "I'M GOING TO STOP WATCHING", but f***. i find this season an absolute chore to get through

I was preparing for the worst season ever due to the twist.

We have Rick, Gavin, Lauren, Aurora, Julie, Victoria and the EoE returnee left. Obviously, we don’t know who that is and that will change the equation here, but if we look at the remaining people otherwise, who’s likeliest to win?
Barring running the table, which I don’t think he can do, I don’t think Rick can win otherwise because he’s the first guy gone as soon as they get the chance. That said, if he gets to the end, he wins.
I think the favourite right now has to be Lauren. She’s competent in challenges, has a good social game, hasn’t pissed anybody off and still has an idol. I think Gavin also has a shot and Victoria is the dark horse, but barring Rick going on a run, I think it’s Lauren’s right now.

I actually like Victoria's chances, but am wondering how a 1000 person jury will work. Hate to say it but The EoE returnee might have the best chance. A lot of time spent with all the jury members, with no scheming at all.

In light of my negativity for this season, I do enjoy Victoria and Lauren. It'd be nice to see a young girl win

So I had another of my many fanfic ideas I'll never likely make (Survivor: Mortal Kombat vs. Touhou Project), and I had an idea for a secret advantage that I don't recall being used on Survivor yet: the bearer can challenge the current Individual Immunity holder, before voting begins at any pre-Final Five Tribal Council, to a fire-making contest. If the challenger wins, they get the Immunity, but if they lose, they lose their vote that TC. Does that sound like a thing that could work or is it, well, to steal a term from the WWE board, too OP?
