Ospreay is done with PROGRESS. Not a big surprise. There's a reason why he has almost exclusively wrestled Aussie Open for the last few months there. No pointing him being there when he is so limited. Yet another death knell for PROGRESS imo. Do hope Robinson stays around though, he deserves another place to work and looks really good and fresh, and let's be fair, PROGRESS could do with all the help they can get if they ever hope to get back to being more than a monthly supercard promotion. When he was last in OTT, before telling Scotty Davis he was facing Liger, he mentioned him trying to renegotiate his NJPW contract to get more indie date allowances to come back? Was it anything like that or was it more obvious that it collides with his main NJPW commitments being a WWE partner? Perhaps. I obviously don't know, but he was a part-timer, who suddenly became full-time when PROGRESS lost a few guys to WWE UK. I don't think the roster is strong enough at the moment that it could do with losing by far it's biggest name, but the way he has been booked kind of proves he must have been limited in terms of how he could be booked, as surely you'd have him at the top of the card? I can imagine without the WWE UK stuff in the background, WALTER/Ospreay would have been the perfect encounter for Ally Pally. Again, I'm just spouting off without any real substance as who really knows for sure, but it makes total sense that WWE UK is a factor, which is a crying shame really. Technically, the three stooges have screwed themselves, which is kind of ironic.

Technically, the three stooges have screwed themselves, which is kind of ironic. It’s been a really weird period of time where everyone’s figuring out where they stand with people making appearances in different UK promotions and seeing who is aligning with who and whose able to appear where. Outside of Toni Storm, Pro Wrestling EVE seems to be the second home of most of the WWE UK talent for one. Another being that, as mentioned in spoilers, the supposed last indie appearance of British Strong Style lead to them winning the OTT Tag titles. So who the hell knows what’s going on. On Paul Robinson, he appeared at ICW just recently so if anything, he’ll probably be in more demand across various companies.

David Starr is in the Super Strong Style 16. As is 16 Carat Gold winner Lucky Kid. Just two spots remaining now, and we know Do Not Resuscitate will not be filling them. Neither will Jimmy Havoc, Mark Andrews, Mark Haskins, Eddie Dennis (injured) or Ligero.

I'm not saying big loss. Between constantly sticking up for Scotty Wainwright and his endless stupid tweets, half of the Ultras (including me) are absolutely done with the guy.

Haven't posted it in a little bit so here's some news announced today by OTT:
Bandido and recent AEW signee Darby Allin are the first names announced for the WrestleRama card in June.

Ospreay was at the EVE show I went to last weekend. I am all prepared for the biggest female wrestling stars in the world to be in there, but was not ready for that.
He has a very nice bottom. And luckily didn't notice me staring at it when we ended up having a brief conversation.
Su Yung appears to have brainwashed and kidnapped Session Moth, by the way.
Speaking of the Moth, she's booked for the Tournament of Death. I haven't watched that garbage in years, but if Moth's in it, I would genuinely consider watching that show.

I’ve seen Martina get a sash stapled on her head and thrown through a plastic table with tacs in it by Joey Janela so she has known that world before. Oh, speaking of Martina, for the OTT show this Sunday (which I am not going to because of family stuff), she’s teaming with the debuting Sugar Dunkerton against Valkyrie and CT Flexor of The Rough Stuff. The promo they put up today is pretty great. twitter.com/ott_wrestling/status/1118211006810005505?s=21

Just saw this, the brackets for ICW’s King of Hawners (basically King of Trios but Scottish) came out earlier today too.
I’m excited for Scotland to see Kings of the North vs. More Than Hype.

Looks like Kid Lykos has retired, not surprising, had a horrible string of injuries the last couple of years.

So as someone whose trained with Valkyrie over the last year and a bit...I’m SUPER giddy about this match. Like, my bias is super showing with this.

EVE have announced Viper and Kay Lee Ray's appearances at the Resistance Gallery this weekend are their last. After Wrestle Queendom they are done with EVE.
So... Either Jamie Hayter wins the title or someone cashes the ladder match briefcase if they have that match again.

Interestingly, the option is there for her to cash in on International champion Utami Hayshishita if she is the champ by the show. But yeah, the former is more likely. I’d like for them to do the ladder match again, though it’s hard to think about who’d be in it since the roster’s still in rebuild mode post WWE UK.

There are way fewer matches announced for Wrestle Queendom at this point compared to last year, which was being built from the previous January at least even not counting the She 1.

Yeah, and it’s understandable considering but at the very least, there’s going to be a STARDOM showcase match which should be exciting. But yeah, I’m not going to say there’s a concern because they are at least showcasing more talent now then most companies would in that situation, it is a bit of a concern how long the transition will take, though.

The first major match announced for OTT WrestleRama in June is a rematch from last month’s Contenders show, Mark Haskins vs. Terry Thatcher and they announced that via hype package.

I'll be at Fight Club PRO on Friday in Wolverhampton, where Toni Storm and Ilja Dragunov will be making their debuts with the promotion. Schadenfreude (Chris Brookes and Kyle Fletcher) will also challenge The Besties In The World for the Tag Team Titles.
Also this week, PROGRESS hold their second non-canon throwback show, this one set in 1988, while ICW debut their two-day King of Hawners trios tournament on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.
