I like how minimalist the trailer is.
They’re on a journey finding out about something they perceived as the norm before. I dig it.

That looks badass. It's going full on animated fantasy film. It's gonna be Frozen of the Rings.
And "The past is not what it seems"? They're going to do the ultimate Disney swerve, Elsa and Anna's parents survived the shipwreck and are still alive.

Edit: After watching this...still sort of impressed I don't really know what it's about outside of a couple of story beats. And with two months to go before release and how big Frozen was, that's pretty impressive.

That trailer was so boring and riddled with cliches and naff dialogue.
I've never understood this junk's appeal.

It also appears to be a cross over with Moana with the ocean appearing as Elsa's greatest adversary. Now having pleasant daydreams of Dwayne Johnson's character cutting Rock-like promos and putdowns on Elsa and Anna.

It’s odd how they’re being awfully vague with the plot, but then again we do tend to get frustrated with trailers spoiling too much of the film before it comes out. Still looks gorgeous and fun though.

Still looks gorgeous and fun though. My guess is it's because Elsa and Anna's mom was from that enchanted forest. Putting more of the plot in the trailer would give it away.

Yeah, that trailer did a lot to get my curiosity up. Doesn't really tell you anything about the plot but still feels like it's vastly different from the first one, which feels like a point in its favor.

I mean, I think it looks good but I do think it's pretty unfair to basically tell people they aren't allowed to be critical of it.

I didn't care for Frozen (catch me screaming "Tangled with superior!" on my deathbed), but the animation quality of those trailers is incredibly impressive.

So if we get a Hans redemption in it, would that be the first villain redemption in a Disney canon movie? I know we have had a couple in the dirct to video sequels, Return of Jafar and Cinderella III are the ones that come to mind, but even than those villain sidekicks that got redemption, Hans was the main villain, he was not a lacky to some other villain.
