Young Rivers looks more like Young Brian Bell.
Fantabulous cover though.

I really like this cover album. I think it helped it really came across like a project they had fun with.

I remember being really into Weezer back during their "Say it Ain't So" and "Buddy Holly" days. So is this what they've become since then? An 80's cover band?

I really like the Teal Album.
Cool stuff. Different, but not too different where it's not familiar.

I remember being really into Weezer back during their "Say it Ain't So" and "Buddy Holly" days. So is this what they've become since then? An 80's cover band? People pestered them into doing a cover of “Africa,” so they went all in and did a whole album of covers.

Know what makes a good cover? Putting your own spin on a song. They didn’t even try with that whole album.

I like it, not the best cover of that song ever recorded but still good. Reel Big Fish's version is better.

I like it, not the best cover of that song ever recorded but still good. Reel Big Fish's version is better. That’s Reel Big Fish cover is a legitimate fantastic song. And as memorable as the A Ha version is for being the original and having the groundbreaking video I’ll always associate that song with RBF

Hopefully this leads to A-Ha doing a cover of “Buddy Holly”.

I liked it. The girl in the 80's garb was hot (but then, that style was always pretty to me). However, I call bs on this supposedly being in the 80's. I didn't see one He-man, Skeletor, or Castle Greyskull anywhere to be seen in the background! F-, negative 5 stars.

As a rabid Weezer fan, these last 4 years have been sorta amazing.
Can't wait for that Black Album

Better than the cover version done in 2001 by British Boy Band A1: So there's been a major cover for this song in every decade since the 80's? That's actually pretty cool. I actually kinda liked this video, the VR setting is actually pretty good update idea for the original pencil sketch video. Personally I like A-Ha's acoustic version that showed up in Deadpool 2 the best.

Pretty solid. Ninja Sex Party's cover was better, but this was pretty good, too. Then again, I'm a huge Weezer mark, so...

It's....fine? I guess?
Like their Africa cover it just feels really uninspired and bland. Not bad, just...there.
Now Toto's cover of Hash Pipe was great. Hopefully Aha cover Buddy Holly.

I like Weezer ok, but all that did was make me want to turn it off and listen to the original.

I liked it well enough.
The biggest surprise here was that Mike from Stranger Things has a band. When did that happen?
