This is going to challenge Nese/Murphy for "who gets to open the pre-show", for sure. It actually sucks for both teams. Revival is beating a dead horse, but while it's supposed to set up a feel-good victory for Hawkins and Ryder (Hawkins especially), it's obvious that they'll drop the belts the next night to Ricochet and Allister Black, much like Ryder's IC victory at WrestleMania 32. God, I wish they'd just drop the Black and Ricochet team. I mean, they're both very good and the matches have been fine but as characters they just plain don't mesh and I think both guys are more suited to doing singles. It doesn't really help that it's incredibly blatant they just slotted them into DIY's place because Ciampa was hurt. Black and Ricochet did take some of DIY's main roster plans, but that was temporary, as they already taped DIY's break up after losing in the Dusty Classic, so I don't think they would have still been contending for the tag titles last night if Ciampa was healthy.

I dunno, I feel like the plan was probably DIY making up or just the main roster ignoring it or something, maybe they shifted NXT plans as it became more clear Ciampa was going to need to take some time off, because, like... Their stuff really obviously shifted to Black and Ricochet. Those two were initially brought up singles and didn't team on the main roster until Ciampa went down, they had DIY beat the Revival and did a segment with them and Roode & Gable that went nowhere, then just suddenly Black and Ricochet were swapped in for all of that.

I think Roman's WM entrance this year just needs to be him coming through the crowd like the old days. He's back, he's one with the people, allow him to do that to give a big feel good moment.

Andrade Mustafa and jeff Hardy are so above being in a jobber battle royal as their only purpose will be to be thrown out by storwman . sad Mustafa and Andrade are just objects for Strawman to throw out . I honestly don't think those two will ever get any kind of main event or even main midcard push ever Probably not fair to say that about Ali given he was getting a main event push until he got injured. I'm happy that Batista is back but sad he's wasting his time wrestling Triple H. I agree, but apparently that's the only way we got him at all.

Anyone hoping for a Cena appearance of some sort? I'm not "hoping" for it but I can see him either beating up Corbin and replacing him or interrupting Elias.

I just realised, and forgive me if this has been mentioned before, but this will be the first WrestleMania without an Undertaker match since 16. While I’ve no doub he’ll appear in some way, he’s not being teased or featured at all.
The fact that this will be the first Mania without a significant Undertaker presence and it’s barely registered is a such a pity. Easy to understand why though.

Therefore if he doesn't wrestle, he won't tie Kane for the Most Consecutive Matches at WrestleMania, with 19.

Look at all that talent in the SDL Tag Team Four Way. And at WrestleMania. Crazy.

Anyone hoping for a Cena appearance of some sort? Supposedly there’s some sort of secret plan for Cena that’s specifically not wrestling Kurt. My money is on him beating Elias’s ass after part 437 of his awful concert.

Y'know, exactly like last year.

I was actually thinking the same thing, except it will be Cena interrupting Elias this year, whereas last year was Elias surprising Cena.

What a bizarre choice to put Ricochet and Black in the Smackdown title match but leave the Hardyz out to be in the battle royal.

You'd think with all the Saudi money they could be bothered to spend the money to make nicer-looking trophies than the WrestleMania Vagina and Andre the Butter.

So both battle royals and the cruiserweight match are on the kickoff show. Do we think anything else gets added to the kickoff? The RAW tag titles?

Wow.
There's still a chance Revival vs. Hawkins & Ryder will be snuck into the pre-show.
