Openly acknowledging TNA? Has that always been a thing? "I hear TNA is hiring"

Openly acknowledging TNA? Has that always been a thing? About a year or so now. They’ve used footage on the Network for a few documentaries, like the Hardy’s one. They basically have an agreement that Impact will let them use footage as long as it comes with promotion for the Global Wrestling Network. It’s why any Network documentary that uses TNA footage ends with a graphic promoting GWN so we fans can watch matches featuring the wrestler seen in the footage.

What a lovely little video. God, I mark for Jeff Jarrett way more than is necessary. But my biggest takeaway was 'when did Sonjay get a shitty tattoo on his arm?' I’m certain he got it when he was feuding with Jay Lethal in like 2008/2009.

Openly acknowledging TNA? Has that always been a thing? For a little bit now yeah. They've even licensed footage. I think either during the Austin podcast or his promo with Shinsuke last year, they showed a picture with AJ holding the TNA title after he won it

The indie with a cult following (relative size notwithstanding) who Vince secretly helps fund mostly to be a thorn in the #2 promotion's side?

There's definitely someone high up, possibly Vince himself, who was a big fan of TNA. Especially with Jeremy Borash appearing on NXT/PC specials. Next up we might see Don West plugging WWEShop products (I would love that).

Having so many different guys from slightly different time periods who worked different styles while working different places helping out behind the scenes is probably such a cool thing to experience. I'd love to be a fly on the wall.

If he's working there, anyway, wouldn't mind seeing Shawn Daivari manage his brother or something. Always thought Shawn was a good heat magnet, just... maybe don't get as racist with it.

That Shane Helms is a real talented kid, might be a hurrricane for the division. Cant wait for him to debut on Raw for the first time.

Having Double J as an agent must be pretty cool. Say what you want about how he was booked, but he's always been a good hand in the ring and has worked everywhere. Someone with that much experience and knowledge is someone valuable to a young wrestler.

They've been acknowledging TNA longer than most of you realize. AJ Styles talked about it with Steve Austin on the Stone Cold Podcast which was on the Network a few years ago.

My favorite TNA acknowledgement was Samoa Joe beating the shit out of Jason Jordan and then barking at Kurt Angle "like father like son, right Kurt?"
