Teddy was about to cry on the phone It's like telling the kids Santa Claus isn't real with way he framed it You have to think about what Robert Kraft means to Tedy Bruschi. This is a guy who suffered a stroke in 2005, while he was still playing at a Pro Bowl level, and Kraft and the Patriots organization took care of him the entire way through to his return to the field that October, then signed him to a two-year, $2.9 million contract with a $1.2 million signing bonus in 2008 when Bruschi was entering his age-35 season. I'm sure Bruschi views Kraft as a family figure, so to see him behave this way probably breaks his heart the same it would for most if a family member did something stupid and irresponsible. Eh, it's not like he murdered somebody. But the people who trafficked in the prostitute(s) he solicited probably have. At best Kraft was blissfully ignorant of being complicit in the sexual slavery business, which I personally have a hard time believing.
That's kind of a reach. It's like saying people who buy Nike shoes are blissfully ignorant of being complicit in child labor.

Prostitution is a lot more uh, intimate than buying shoes. Like I get trying to give Kraft benefit of the doubt as a Pats fan, but c'mon man. That analogy only works if the person buying Nikes is doing so at the factory where they're made.

The fact that billionaires are paying for sex at a strip mall is just amazing to me.

The fact that billionaires are paying for sex at a strip mall is just amazing to me. Right, if you're gonna pay for it you have the cash to get an escort to come to your home and not get caught at all.

Now that's justice.
"Hey, because you're super rich, just admit you broke the law, and we'll let you go."
What the hell kind of deal is that?

Disagree. The initial case is falling apart. They tried to make it look like they busted an international sex slave operation and now, the police have backed off that. I don't blame Kraft for making them give an account for their moral panic narrative.

The "bigger names" part may have not been true but it still stands in his apology Kraft did not deny these claims and the fact they are trying to get this tape not shown is a little concerning
I do think he has enough money and resources to make sure this never see the light of day but it is a little fishy. Then again shit been so crazy lately, can't really call it

His team is arguing that the warrant for the video was questionable. It was a "sneak and peek" warrant. A practice initially sold as simply a way to deter terrorism but, well, the government did what they always do: expanded the scope of the practice way beyond the intended purpose. Does he have legal standing to have it thrown out? Depends. Mostly on the intention of the warrant.

The Robert Kraft tapes are described as pornography
NOPE!!!! Miss me with that shit
His lawyers are still arguing against the tapes being shown but not denying it is there. Their argument is if the tapes are released, Kraft won't get a fair trial

I just feel bad for whoever in the courts has to watch a Robert Kraft sex tape Every juror who was part of that Hogan/Gawker trial is saying "ok, this time I WILL be using my best excuse to get out of jury duty."

There was no human trafficking. The woman owned the place, she was 58 years old and didn’t have sex with him
