Seriously. I get that he works super stiff, but he also seems slow and plodding. There's plenty of more agile big guys that impress me more. Like if we ignore the controversy surrounding Lars Sullivan, Walter doesn't seem to be much different than that guy.

Are you going by his appearances in NXT UK alone, because he hasn't even scratched the surface of what he can do.
Also that Lars Sullivan comparison is making my head spin, and I like Lars.

No, WALTER's actually pretty great. He's had exactly two squash matches in WWE, let him get out of first gear before we make this thread.

Unless you're talking about his indy work, he's had like what 2 matches in WWE so far?
Give it some time

NXT UK hasn't been a good showcase for anYone in the bits I've seen. Still waiting to find its stride.

Also, I take umbrage with "There are more agile big men" being a point against him. Not every big man HAS to be an "agile big man". Sometimes a big dude just needs to be a motherf***ing kaiju of a wrestler, and I'd argue that WALTER fills that niche. He's not moving at the speed of light because he doesn't HAVE to. The slap is coming, it's gonna hit you like a truck no matter how much you flip and flop around it.

I don't really see how they're comparable at all. Braun Strowman is a giant former strongman who throws people around like it's nothing. Walter isn't a giant, he's just huge. He's a brick shithouse that hits people really damn hard, and that's what he needs to do. I don't see what they have in common aside from not being flippy and both being over six feet

You get what I’m saying?

Reminds me of (WWE)ECW Big Show. "You can't wrestle" Big Show: "I don't have to!"

And honestly, I think there's way too many big guys in wrestling right now whose whole thing is that they can do flips too. Like, great, so can literally f***ing everybody in 2019.

You get what I’m saying? But you can have more than one larger guy who isn't lightning fast. There's always space for wrecking balls and methodical stretchers who need to slow down a faster guy and contrast their styles. Also I'd say Braun is less comparable because as far as guys his size go, he runs very fast and he uses that shit.

In an age where EVERYONE is a super indy flippy dude, the way to stand out is to do the opposite. Wrestling needs variety. WALTER fits a niche we haven't have had a whole lot of lately.

It's 2 matches, let's give him some time to actually get some in ring time in a match before saying he's not good

That's one of the reasons that Braun got so ridiculously over too.

You're not a good wrestler if you actually cause your opponents pain.

You're not a good wrestler if you actually cause your opponents pain. So no wrestler has ever been good.
