Yep, it's kind of hard to come across as progressive and open when the entertainment you present, by your own decree, can't include a) women, b) Canadians, c) anyone in or allied with the LGBTQ+ community, d) anything that the regime might see as critical of them.

The Saudi shows aren’t even worth it if you ask me. No one wants to go and they’re lame as all hell anyways. That’s without even getting into the political mess. Exactly why I tapped out on the network. If I gave you a boatload of money would you change your mind? Honestly no. I have no desire to ever go to Saudi Arabia or that area of the world really. I get that the E is a business and they’re getting paid out of the ass for going, but it’s not for everyone. |

It seems like many of those who had the pull to say no, said no. Props to Roman for being one of them. But that does leave me extra disappointed with the likes of Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins who did go, and even more disappointed with the three old guys who effectively came out of retirement to dance for money in front of a bunch of bored aristocrats, who are probably more used to public entertainment that ends in death. I can't really say disappointed
At the end of the day some guys are just "doing their job" and while they may not like it, they are getting paid for it and just going to stomach it
For the mid card guys, the money is going to be damn good and they will stomach it as well
I'm happy for the guys that spoke up but i'm not really going to condemn the guys for going to do their job. They aren't having a parade. They are getting paid and getting the f*** outta there
