AJ is a guy who BADLY needs some time off TV or at least out of the main event scene. It felt like he had the WWE title forever and even when he lost it, he was still all over the title picture.
Everybody gets stale if you use them too much and AJ is another byproduct of that.

Real question, when's the last time anyone truly loved everything Styles was doing? I mean everything. Last I checked, the last time I loved Styles was during the Lesnar match/end of the Mahal feud. That was November 2017. As far as I'm concerned dude's segments have slumped onto my mute button. I liked the last ten minutes of the LMS match with Naka at MITB, but then Charlotte and Becky showed a few months later that you can do a match in that style and have it be compelling throughout.
Both guys have had amazing WWE-style matches with other people, AJ admittedly way more. They had an amazing match at Wrestle Kingdom previously, with each other. They were given like 30 minutes to have this match. And it still only got to being decent in like the last ten minutes. They had what, four matches? What a colossal disappointment.

Everybody gets stale if you use them too much and AJ is another byproduct of that. I would have him go to RAW, but not wrestle right away. After a couple a weeks, we get an interview with Styles (done by Cole) and we get the update that Styles is getting used to Raw and while he smiles, he comes off as dejected. Slowly we get to see he's kinda pissed that he's on RAW. In fact he hates it and style reflects that. The endpoint to this is the return of Ragin' dickhead AJ Styles.

Exact same thing would happen in TNA, he would get super hot and then super annoying not doing anything. Rinse and repeat. But according to many that was TNAs fault. According to reality all TNA guys have same pros and cons as they did in TNA.
