Man, I don’t envy any face that has to get a program with Corbin, Lashley, or McIntyre over.

We all know Reigns isn't squashing this guy. It'll be the standard "babyface gets dominated for most of the match before the comeback win" thing we see them do with most babyfaces. My counter argument to this is Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin at Summerslam last year. The big two seem to include a squash match the last couple of years for some reason.

This is just further proof that RAW has no good heels. Like, I'm trying to think of a better opponent for him, but all that's left are McIntyre, Lashley, and Elias. Roman would be better served wrestling a broom than any combination of those guys. They're heatless.
Why not have him and Ambrose challenge for the tag titles? The chemistry is there, tag matches will give him a better chance to ease back into things, and possible opponents could be The Revival which would be infinitely better than Reigns vs. the leader of the Four Snoremen.

Just have Reigns decimate him. No other real option for it.

This better make King Kong Bundy vs. SD Jones look like the Bret/Shawn Iron Man match by comparison or no buys.

As someone who actually still likes Corbin, what the hell are they thinking?

It should be a squash, but given how long they have Corbin wrestle on Raw every week I'm expecting a boring slog of a match. That's my issue with it. Roman has so much goodwill right now, they shouldn't be going back to the same formula that hurt him.

The scary thing is that if Rollins wins the title Raw is desperately going to need some of these guys to step it up, so the idea of jobbing all of them at WM is dubious. A part of me thinks at best Seth would just be a transition champion to either McIntyre or Lashley, and then Reigns would go after either of those guys. I'd probably go with McIntyre since he is the least scorched earth of the 3.

While normally we wouldn't see The Guy in a squash match, I think on the other hand, between whatever ring shape Roman is in and the whole success story around him, him just absolutely destroying the dude could be played as this big cathartic victorious return for Roman. It'd be an easy enough story to tell.

… Corbin's not even the best choice in his trio.
Do they want to hold off on Roman/Drew?

Baron shouldn't even make it to the ring when he gets speared by Roman on the ramp making his entrance and then have him dragged into the ring for the 3 count

This is proving an increasingly useful gif: McIntyre or Lashley would be a better choice, if they can get them away from Baron "needs a minimum of 15 pieces of flair on his vest" Corbin.

For the love of god this better be a squash match to end all squash matches.
