I like Triple H, but most of his best matches weren't at Mania, for whatever reason. A glowing exception would be his WM 30 one, which might be my favorite Daniel Bryan match in his entire WWE run.

I can't bring myself to watch the Sting match and I doubt I ever will. Everything about it irritates the shit out of me.
You have Sting - and I don't care if he's past his prime, it's f***ing STING - finally in a WWE ring. First off, Cole and JBL suck every single morsel of excitement out of his arrival. It was pathetic how "meh" they were about the whole thing - Cole shows more excitement for 'Boss Time' every week. And then JBL starts reading from the Steve Borden Wikipedia page.
Anyway, you'd think we'd finally be getting that Undertaker/Sting match we've always wanted, but no. Of course not. It has to be Triple H, even though no one's dream matches have ever involved Triple H except Triple H's. But whatever, maybe they've already got something really big planned for Taker at Mania that's been in the works for a - BRAY WYATT ARE YOU f***ING SERIOUS.
Then the actual match really just becomes WWE vs WCW, so of course Sting loses. Then they do the hokey handshake thing? Nah. Never. I feel comfortable saying f*** that match without ever seeing it.

I thought Cole was alright, but JBL in relentless "WCW sucked and he was a big fish in a small pond and WCW sucked and he's with the big boys now and WCW sucked" almost every single damn minute just really killed the match for me. Either Vince was in his ear in full-on vindictive mode, or JBL didn't know the result (which is likely) and like a lot of us was expecting Sting to win and loaded up way, way too much on the heel side so he could pretend to be all shocked at the end.
Instead, Sting loses and JBL heeling about him being out of his league looks completely correct.
Quite a few people at the stadium said how much they enjoyed the Sting-Hunter match. Considering it means they weren't hearing JBL, I'm not so surprised. Horrible commentary performance.
Anyway...
The Taker brawl at 17 is fun, as is Cena at 22. I love Taker II (III!) at HiaC at 28, the Bryan match at 30 and the mixed tag at 34.
20 (triple threat) I loved at the time, but...
Oh, and 12 for the Warrior squash is lol-worthy, at least.
The rest is pretty good to not-very-good at all.

In general his Mania record is pretty average. A couple of great matches, a couple of good matches and an awful lot of average to crap matches.
The only good one on one singles match he's had at Mania in the last few years, since he shaved his head essentially, was against Bryan.
The Brock and Reigns matches absolutely sucked, the Rollins match was dull and the Sting match was dumb with a stupid finish.
Somebody needs to take him aside and tell him whatever you have planned for the Batista match cut at least 12-15 minutes off it. Nobody wants a typical plodding boring Triple H match 5 hours into a 8 hour show

I think his match with Sheamus was great.
