Ali should win the Andre at Wrestlemania this year.

I don't really understand why it wasn't just Kofi? Read up on what happened on the show and it just seemed like the booking is completely nonsensical I mean, he was getting his revenge on Rowan since he's the one they've been giving credit for injuring him, not sure how that doesn't make sense.

Read up on what happened on the show and it just seemed like the booking is completely nonsensical Because New Day was in India, and Rowan is the one who put Ali on the shelf? Also count me in with those saying Ali’s “I’m a go kart” theme isn’t helping his reactions. It needs more of a kick at the beginning that’s instantly recognizable.

I didn't really recall that happening. I guess I just don't get why all of the build for Kofi then he's not even on the show. Smackdown just seems like a bunch of random shit that happens to me with no connections or proper followups. People come and go with no explanation because they can't be bothered to book them.

Because as the said multiple time on the show, New Day was in India. Why though? Long planned PR stuff. Hell they even tied it into the current storyline by talking about how Kofi is good enough to send around the world on PR and do all the media obligations that WWE asks of him but not get a world title shot and how f***ed up that is.

It just seems to me, that sending Kofi on it is a bad idea (you could just send the other two or something if it was "promised" or something) when he's the hottest act you have. Maybe I'm just salty about it, because I'm already pissed at WWE in general since Crown Jewel and the only two storylines I was interested in are either off the rails or currently dead in the water. It makes it hard to even begin to care about anything on it anymore.

New Day is huge for PR in this company. They sell tons of merch, they've got a certain amount of creative control, they've hosted Wrestlemania. It makes sense why they'd be in India rather than leaving Kofi back in the US just to fill in a random spot on a go home show for a B level ppv.

I thought this was going to be about Ali's ass or Ali's back guys i.e. the guy who focus solely on Ali's back.

I mean, I get you but at the same time, if you take Kofi off the PR tour, it looks bad because it’s been long term planned and on the other side of it, it’s not like he’s off TV because of “fake injury” or something, it adds to the storyline. Like, if it was a weekly thing and Kofi was away doing dumber and dumber stuff, I’d be there with you but I guarantee you he’ll end up being there for the PPV.

I may be over speculating here but it could be he initially dazzled the smackdown audience with his entrance with all those LED lights on his mouthpiece and stuff, the Mortal Kombat cosplay he does? But when he made the run in he was himself and maybe they didn't recognize him?
