I was just watching Brian Zane's review of Unforgiven 99 and he pointed out that Moolah won the Women's title the following month at No Mercy. Is she the oldest person to hold a title (youngest person is Nicholas, and I dont think anyone will be beating that one anytime soon)?

Youngest is actually the 4 year old girls who won the Ironman Heavymetal weight championship...you might be right about Moolah though.

How old was the ladder when it won the Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship?

Vince is oldest for WWF title at 54. "Classic" Chavo Guerrero was 55 when he won the WWE Cruiserweight belt in 2004.

Vince is oldest for WWF title at 54. Interesting. Same age Verne Gagne was when he last held the AWA championship...

Fabulous Moolah was 76 in 1999 so it will be her.
Hell she was 61 when she lost the title to Wendi Richter in 1984 and 64 when she lost it to Sherri in 1987.

If someone did a serious deep search into the world of the indies, they're likely to find a few others up there. I'd be surprised if Jimmy Valiant hasn't held a title somewhere in the last decade that isn't listed on Wikipedia.

What really constitutes a “title” though?
I mean, if an Indy starts in some small town and they decide to make their local centenarian a belt, is that legitimate?
I realize Nicholas throws a bit of a wrench into that equation.

I realize Nicholas throws a bit of a wrench into that equation. If they make a belt from an old person, I think they have bigger problems to worry about than it's legitimacy...

Also iirc Blade beaudreax was 55 when he won the Powerslam title in 2013.
