The IC stands for Insufficient Charisma when Bobby's strapped up.

I loved Lashley's giant angry face up on the Titantron without him saying a word.
Lashley's angry random face should appear up on the tron for all kinds of other disappointing and disgruntled moments that happen in a WWE ring.

What the hell have they done with Lashley? They stumble at every moment. He should have been a big deal when he first came back, granted he did have matches with Roman and even beat him once. Then just let him flounder. WWE kills everything. We won't get Brock vs Lashley. And why not? Oh I don't know, just because I guess? No one wants to see it? I doubt it. I know I want to see it. It wouldn't have hurt to do it at a throw-away PPV. Besides that, the 50/50 booking. HE IS A BEAST BOOK HIM AS ONE! WTH!!

The demon is to similar to the normal character for me. Finn should stay face but the Demon needs a heel turn. The Demon should wrestle a much different, aggressive style to get across that this is Finn’s dark side. They seemed to be going somewhere with that at Summerslam when he decimated Corbin and Corbin sold the fact that he was in the paint like death. Then, nothing.

They seemed to be going somewhere with that at Summerslam when he decimated Corbin and Corbin sold the fact that he was in the paint like death. Then, nothing. There are two parts to the problem of the Demon. The first is the logistics of bringing the Demon into being; the second is that, as a result of these logistics, the Demon must _always_ win (yes, there was one exception, but only one, and then it was in NXT.) It is pointless to spend 3-5 hours on a table getting airbrushed with these intricate and unique designs only for Finn to go out and eat a pin in less time than it would take for him to scrub it all off. Therefore, the use of the Demon has to be limited to those matches in which Finn is booked to win and in a big way. However, we've come to see Demon = opponent gets rekt. The obvious solution is to have the Demon in a full bodysuit, perhaps with a mask that incorporates or replicates the headdress and face paint. However, also obviously, such a solution would at best cover up WWE's most marketable physique and, at worst, draw parallels to Giant Gonzalez. The not-so-obvious, but infinitely more difficult for WWE Creative, is to create a proper feud that makes full use of the Demon's mythos so that, if should he be defeated, he does so in a way that is entertaining and does not really diminish the magic.

Putting the belt on Balor and messing up the Lio/Lashley dynamic was a mistake and I am glad they pretty much wrote all that out.

Why they didn’t have Lashley return and murk this dude is beyond me. Lashley is a better version of Brock Lesnar. He just doesn’t have the booking/protection that Brock has. I don’t think anyone would think it’s unbelievable for Lashley to demolish Brock... even in an MMA fight, I could see Lashley doing damage to him. It would take some massive rebuilding to get Lashley back up to that level now. He’s been taking L’s on Raw every other week to blokes half his size.

Sometimes I like to think about what Lucha Underground would have done with the Finn/Demon mythos. In fact I think all darker characters should have went to LU at least once, like both Rosemary and Bray (Waylon Mercy version) would have had amazing stories in LU.
