How did WWE screw up a guy that is everything that Vince wants, who also happens to be somebody the fans love?

Poor guy goes from winning the Raw Tag Titles with a kid at WM34 to apparently feuding with the Weekend Update guys at WM35. And WWE will consider it a step up because it is mainstream and be shocked when he's basically forgotten later in the year. I find it so bizarre that a man as isolated from the non-=wrestling world cares as much as he does about getting his wrestlers into other stuff. Not because there's a bad idea in crossover appeal, but just because he seems to think the one-and-done is an instant star making moment that will be remembered forever.

This could have been a funny segment if they made it super obvious to buy this toy. I mean full on commercial for it and everything.
But they didn’t. So it just came across as lame instead of intentionally obvious funny shilling.
Having said that, I had to laugh when Braun removed all the same parts of the car that you can remove on the toy.... For f***s sake...

This will all be worth it if Braun screams “WHEN I GET FINISHED WITH YOU TOU’LL BE COLIN GHOST!” I guess that's better then, "WHEN I GET FINISHED WITH YOU YOU’LL BE DONNY MOST! .... .... You know the guy from Happy Days? He had red hair. ... He was in Stedwardess school as well. He goes by Don Most now. Kind of like Debbie Gibson now goes by Deborah Gibson. .... .... Although I guess both go by 'Who are you' now. .... Welp, I guess I'll go"

And then as soon as they do get successful in something else and start taking outside gigs, WWE get super petty and start cold-shouldering them. Nobody in the company knows what they want their stars to be anymore.

More than enough time for them to hire Will Sasso for Braun to beat up! Someone's taking a bump into Tame Impala's drum kit. let it happen

For f***s sake... Oh. I had a good laugh when noticed that. The one plus to Brain's rise and fall is that it resulted in them produce a good scaled toy vehicle that goes well with 6 inch to 7.25 inch action figures. That's a win for me.

Man he fell hard, I remember thinking he would be the guy to dethrone Brock but I'm guessing after a few of their matches that Brock doesn't like working with him, could be wrong.

Wrestlemania is meant to be a worldwide event, doing something with people from a TV show that is only aired in America is a great idea..

For all of WWE's talks about how many countries they broadcast, they will always think local due to being an American company, and primarily being based near New York City at that. I'm more than certain people elsewhere are going to be confused why Braun is feuding with these two yokels for no apparent reason.

Braun should definitely be in a plunder match with another big guy where they just destroy things in a ridiculous manner Monsters Over Tokyo style. That’s his thing.
Now I want to see Braun work for Kaiju Big Battel.

Kaiju Big Battel puts on such a fun show. I'd love to see Braun show up and throw around Steam Powered Tentacle Boulder or something.

As long as they get Jon Lovitz in this feud, as the Master Thespian, and as he's about to eviscerate wrestling with his catchphrase .... ... Braun just kicks him and chokeslams him into oblivion. ....I'll be good with a Braun/SNL @ WrestleMania angle, yeah.

It's worse than that, though, because they always relentlessly hammer home who these guests are, it's just that it's always 'Hey look, it's Darryl from Whatever Is Happening In America On Thursday Morning Live!' I'm a Brit. We know where these people are from. We never see those shows. And we couldn't give less of a solitary shit about them.

Man his shtick got old fast, didn’t it? Eh, not really? It's basically been about two years of him doing this with it really only hitting a wall now because they refuse to commit to anything bigger.
