What feuds did wwe spend months building with no significant blowoff match or maybe no match at all? A heel getting his comeuppance or a satisfying end to the feud at least on tv if not a ppv?
Hogan vs flair 1991.
Warrior vs Jake the snake
Y2j vs Kevin Owens
Big bossman vs rick rude
Undertaker vs warrior
Undertaker vs berzerker
Thoughts on these or what else do you think?

Rick Martel vs Tito Santana. Or Michaels vs Jannetty, for that matter.

I'd say Sandow vs Miz. They built the feud for months to only have the match on Raw.

With Warrior/Taker in 91, the blowoff would usually happen on the house show circuit and Warrior won most of the matches whether it was a Casket Match or Bodybag match.

did jake roberts vs macho man ever have an offical blow off? Think Savage and Jake had a match on SNME that finished with Savage getting the win, followed by Undertaker turning face after he stopped Jake from swinging a chair at Elizabeth as her and Savage were coming through the curtain.

Undertaker vs Mr. Hughes
Seriously that should have been the Summerslam match.

Undertaker vs Mr. Hughes Seriously that should have been the Summerslam match. Yep. I know Hughes would get fired before SS, but he was still being pushed by the time they decided to go with Giant Gonzalez again. There's lots of examples from WWF's beginnings in pay per view, up till maybe 1994-95, actually. As they were still selling house show matches.

The whole buildup to Summerslam was about Undertaker and Hughes, Taker was senting him black roes during his matches, I remember a King's Court with Taker just before Summerslam, they talked about Hughes. Mr Hughes one fo the few men to mess with the Undertaker and never get his comeuppings, because if it doesn't happen on TV, it never happened.

Angle vs Austin in 2001, their blowoff was on a random Raw in 2002.

Apparently, Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade is getting this treatment right now.

Not quite the same but I wish that Tatanka/Luger cage match had been on PPV rather than a random Raw. It seems to get forgotten despite being a big storyline. Given the participants WWE hasn’t been keen to release it on any anthology sets or anything either unless I missed something.

Dusty Rhodes and Ted DiBiase As I recall, they had several matches and Dusty just could never get the job done. What feuds did wwe spend months building with no significant blowoff match or maybe no match at all? A heel getting his comeuppance or a satisfying end to the feud at least on tv if not a ppv? Hogan vs flair 1991.
Big bossman vs rick rudeThoughts on these or what else do you think? Both of these pairs had their blowoffs in WCW, if that counts.

I've been watching all the 1992 episodes of Superstars on the network and there are tons, especially around Sunmerslam when the card got totally shaken up.
Hogan Vs Flair Sgt Slaughter Vs Mountie Beverly Brothers Vs Legion Doom (BBs spend weeks taunting the "Legion of Sissies" whilst Natural Disasters hunt Money Inc. Suddenly, Disasters are champs and BBs are announced as challengers, whilst LOD are pitted against Money Inc, a fued that both teams had moved on from) Undertaker Vs Berzerker (Kamala is announced as Summerslam opponent out of the blue) Ultimate Warrior Vs Papa Shango Razor Vs Savage (suppose you could say Survivor Series 92, but it felt like this was heading to a 1 on 1. Wish they'd carried this through to Wrestlemania 9) British Bulldog Vs Repo Man (hanging incident occurred around June, I think. Repo eventually challenged for the IC title in November but neither man mentioned this in their promos, nor did commentary) Bret Vs Papa Shango (again, Shango got a shot at the WWF title months after their initial angle, but the 'hex' wasn't mentioned, he was just presented as another challenger Nailz Vs Undertaker Natural Disasters Vs Headshrinkers Nasty Boys Vs Money Inc
I could go on...!

Claudio Castagnoli going to WWE before him and Eddie Kingston had a proper blow off to their feud and the whole BDK angle in CHIKARA just fizzling out was very frustrating.

Bret Hart vs Steve Austin Wasn't the 5-on-5 tag match at Canadian Stampede the blowoff to that feud? Or did the feud just transition from Bret to Owen for Austin?
