Am I remembering wrong or did NAO pretty decisively beat LOD (though with cheating). I think LOD deserved better, but it really helped NAO get over rather than just look like two near jobbers cracking jokes which is what they pretty much were at the time. So I think it could be considered a best, IIRC.
Also, can’t feel too bad for LOD. A big reason they first got over in the 1980s is they wrestled legends who were rarely made to look vulnerable for years and then more or less squashed them.

Definitely one of the worst - The original iteration of DX repeatedly mugging Owen Hart, to the point that he turned heel just to get away from them.
Best - Would Corporate Rock vs Mankind count? That feud truly made The Rock as a main event guy.

A lesser example, but did X-Pac ever get to decisively beat Shane McMahon after losing the European Championship to him? All I remember was him getting a few more shots, getting screwed out of each one, then not getting a final blow-off match before Shane let Mideon take the championship.

The best time was the Triple H vs Mick Foley feud. Trips' first reign got a lot of backlash from people who thought he wasn't ready or didn't like the severity of his push, but the Rumble and NWO matches legitimised him as both a main eventer and champion.

Booker T: tops it all. Makes a racist comments, Booker T never got revenge in any match.
Kane: Horrible angle made Kane look like a fool. Still wins it, no revenge.

So I’m actually okay with HHH beating Booker at WM19. I would be equally okay with Bryan beating Kofi. For the simple reasons that I never really saw Booker or Kofi as main eventers. Decent midcarders sure... but never main eventers.

Yea, they are treading more lightly on the Kofi angle and wrote themselves in a corner with that
I would been fine with Bryan beating Kofi in a hard fought match but you almost have to deliver on a title win, even if Kofi only holds it for a week or 2
However, even if Kofi wins I don't expect him to hold the title more than 2 months

You don't cross that racism line unless you plan to at least give the babyface some type of redeeming quality. Booker T got his ass whooped, and made to look like a chump by not being able to kick out after 5 mins of lying on the floor
HHH was proven right and that's bad. You don't bring up someone background of going to jail, "nappy hair" and the "you people" line and come out looking clean
