I wasn't sure about even bothering with 205 Live, but that ending sorta got me in a better mood after the shit with Asuka. I still don't understand it, but at least they ended the show on a happy note.

Note: Vince said that Kofi is going to Wrestlemania. He didn't say anything about getting a title match. he literally said "can a B+ Player beat Daniel Bryan?" And how do you know that next week he doesn't answer "no" and makes Kofi go through more bulls# t. Hey I hope not but would you be surprised if he did?

I mean, he should know the answer to that. If he had previously called Bryan a B+ Player, and now he's calling Kofi one, hes either elevated Bryan in his eyes or sees them as equal.

Shit, right. Name changes are just text on the internet until mentioned onscreen, so I genuinely forgot. Just don't do it again. Okay?

Had you done this the other way round, tag first then a Kofi gauntlet, it would have been waaaaaaaaaaaay better Even though this pre-build has been super drawn out I kinda like that his friends got him there in the end. It shows solidarity and eschews the Rockers booking of teams for the last god knows how many years (Every time a team member had a singles run since HBK pretty much)

Yeah there you go. Pretty much. I think something like BvS could have worked if it was in the hands of a more capable director and writer. The idea of Superman facing off with a cynical and depressed world and sacrificing himself in the name of hope and unity has serious merit. But it was done by the wrooooong people. It's an idea with potential, Superman trying to win over a cynical public. The problem was that Snyder and David Goyer wrote the Superman character too moody and morose. So next to Batman, it was too broody jerks fighting each other, and that's no fun. BvS needed a more hopeful, optimistic Clark as a counter against the story's darker elements. Again, subtley was missing. Superman struggling to maintain his positive outlook against a violent, grim world is a great story. Thereβs elements in the movie but not handled by the right people. If they managed to keep Nolan around, that shit wouldβve made you cry.

I still don't understand why Superman disliked Batman. Okay, Batman disliked Superman because he's a nigh-omnipotent alien who caused a ton of collateral damage and a massive bodycount fighting other similarly powerful aliens, and for idiot reasons people think he shot some terrorists with mind bullets or something. Superman hates Batman because... the title of the movie says they need to fight at some point.

Batman was pretty much another bad guy to Clark in the beginning anyway.

I guess, but given Superman himself killed Zod when he... really had very little reason to do so (yeah, yeah, saving the family - Superman could've either told the dumbasses to leave while he had him slowed down or he could've remembered he can fly and flown Zod out of there) he's hardly in a position to judge. The movie never really bothered to establish what Superman considers acceptable in stopping criminals so it never really registers why Batman is supposed to be so bad by comparison.

Superman hates Batman because... the title of the movie says they need to fight at some point. It's explained in the movie. Clark/Superman believes that Batman being as brutal as he was with the criminals he was battling was taking it too far. Batman was branding criminals and as such, they were being killed in prison. Superman felt Batman was going too far with his war on crime and he wanted it stopped. The extended edition makes it more clear that Lex was behind the killings to further nudge Bruce and Clark along.
