Previous thread. So continuing this little experiment, we have a bunch more matches than we did this time last week. For me... Shane / Miz might be there now since being Falls Count Anywhere should help its quality tremendously and the build's mostly been good, AJ / Orton, Joe / Mysterio though I doubt it's going to get enough time, Murphy / Nese should be good, and Bryan / Kofi. I would LIKE to be interested in the main event but the booking seems like an attempt to find the Anti-Hype Equation.

Seth/Brock, Shane/Miz, Orton/AJ remain the main ones.

Don’t really care about Angle/Corbin, Lashley/Finn, or Brock/Seth. The Andre is teetering on the brink of me caring about it, considering I am actually an SNL fan and I want to see how the Jost and Che stuff plays out.
Everything else I’m at least somewhat excited about.

This build has absolutely sucked, yet I voted for seven of the matches. The main event, Bryan/Kofi, Joe/Rey, Shane/Miz now that it's FCA (not that I'm expecting a classic, but if any match needed that kind of gimmick it's that), Orton/AJ, Murphy/Nese and even that 4-way Women's Tag Titles match... mostly because I'm happy for The IIconics.
I just can't get on board with Seth/Brock because I do think Brock's winning now.

The builds all absolutely suck. I’m still excited for the Becky/Ronda/Charlotte, Bryan/Kofi, Seth/Brock.
Looking forward to Finn/Lashley and Bayley & Sasha vs The IIconics vs Nattie & Beth vs Nia and Tamina.

Literally all of them.
- The women are freaking main eventing. - I've been bored by the Brock/Seth build but Brock usually brings it against smaller guys. - We'll most likely get Demon Finn, which is always fun. - It's Angle's last match. - Batista baby! - Drew and Roman are gonna have a war. - Bryan/Kofi sounds amazing. - Joe/Rey should rule. - Miz is the GOAT and Shane is usually a safe bet at Mania. - AJ/Orton is a protected dream match between two of the best. - Buddy/Nese has show stealer potential. - Other than Tamina & Nia, the Women's Tag Titles will be really good. - Andre is gonna be dumb fun that includes a ton of talent.

Kinda all of them because with the proper booking it can be the best WM of all time.

Last week, I was excited that the Andre was finally announced. This week, I am no longer excited because the story of the Andre is going to exclusively be about Braun and the SNL hosts, meaning that either Braun is winning the thing, or he's getting bitched out and someone who is doing absolutely nothing like Apollo Crews or Curt Hawkins will win it (granted, I'm for Hawkins winning it, but WWE forgot about the story with him and Ryder teaming up again, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's an early elimination).
So, I'm now moving to Angle/Corbin and wanting to see how they're swerve the audience to try and salvage it, since Angle is now a decrepit monkey skeleton, as far as his in-ring ability is concerned, and Corbin is Corbin.

Kofimania is reaching peak performance and Corbinmania is completely the opposite in every way possible.

The Triple Threat Bryan/Kofi AJ/Orton Miz/Shane, especially now that the match is FCA Joe/Rey Murphy/Nese Other than Samoan Sloppyhouse, I like the women's Tag Titles match

My triple threat interest is pretty unchanged; I'm ready to ignore every f***ing abysmal decision made along the way if the match is good. Kofi/Bryan is now at levels where I'm gonna f***ing cry at the end of this match because it's building up so much emotion within me and is everything I firmly believe wrestling at its best can be. Joe vs. Rey can be great. Buddy Murphy vs. Tony Nese will light the pre-show up. The four-way womens' tag title match is going to be a lot of fun if nothing else. Some of the other matches I didn't vote for could turn out perfectly good, I just have no real emotion for them right now.

Bryan vs. Kingston, Orton vs. Styles, and purely because I want to see what Batista does, Triple H vs. Batista. Joe vs Mysterio should also be a solid match.
I was super hyped for the main event originally but they've found every way to make the build to that match a trainwreck to the point I just don't care anymore. I've never seen a Wrestlemania main event that almost seems deliberately sabotaged.

I voted for:
- Main event triple threat - Brock vs. Seth if only because I want to see what happens, please God have Seth win the strap and I don't even like Seth - Trips vs. Bats, because I love Bats and Triple H has got good matches out of worse wrestlers - Bryan vs. Kofi - Joe vs. Rey - Shane vs. Miz - Orton vs. Styles - Women's tag team four-way.
I know the show is way too stacked, but it's nice to see one that is WAY down on the part-timer-Mania thing. Triple H and Bats in one match, Brock in one match, Beth doesn't really count because she's only had one match in the last decade or so outside of this one. I hope it's a great show, and I think it'd be virtually impossible for it to be 100% a disappointment.

I'm kind of riding the line on Triple H / Batista; I think it could be a pretty good match but I'll be damned if I at all care about this storyline. That there's basically a 108% chance Triple H is winning doesn't help.

The announced matches for WrestleMania 35 that I'm hyped for are,
Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch (Somehow, someway, I think that Becky Lynch will be getting booked to win this match) Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins (I think that Lesnar will be re-signing with WWE before the event begins and then get booked to win this match)
Triple H vs. Batista (I'm hyped for this "No Holds Barred" match even though it's a guarantee that Triple H will be winning the match) Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin (Even though it won't be an excellent match, it's Angle's farewell match and Angle will be winning this match) Shane McMahon vs. The Miz (The added Falls Count Anywhere stipulation will surely help this match significantly, it will be a marvelous match) AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton (I fully expect this to be a terrific match, but, I do think that Orton will be getting booked to win it) Bobby Lashley vs. Finn Balor (This should be a good match and I do fully expect Lashley to be booked to win it) Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre (I'm so extremely glad that Reigns' leukemia is now in remission, he'll definitely be winning this match) Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston (This match should be magnificent. I think that Kofi will be winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35.)
WWE has made Samoa Joe look like a complete joke as of late, so I have no interest in his WrestleMania 35 match versus Rey Mysterio.
In California time, I'll be watching WrestleMania 35 live on the WWE Network on Sunday, April 7th from 2pm until whenever the event ends.

The Triple Threat's buildup has become an absolute monstrosity, but given the talent involved here and the chip on their shoulders with it being confirmed for closing show spot, I know they'll put everything they've got into making this a classic. So, no matter how many senseless title changes or kayfabe breaking tweets we go through, I'm sold on the final product already. Just hope the crowd saves some energy here, because going last on a show this long isn't an easy feat.
Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan has the potential to be something really special. Here's to hoping those of us on the Kofi train get to be right, though I've made a prediction for the Smackdown following Mania that could still break some hearts. Still, easy checkmark for the match itself.
Meanwhile, I keep forgetting that Seth vs. Brock is even happening, which is sad considering I attended the Royal Rumble. No checkmark here, even with Lesnar's recent chemistry with smaller dudes. You have to try to sell me on this stuff, because the last Seth vs. Brock match really sucked and ended with no resolution whatsoever.
Batista vs. Hunter is probably going to be 10 minutes too long like all of Hunter's modern day Mania matches, but between the No Holds Barred and HHH career stipulation, they've probably got enough Bells and Whistles to cover for some of the shortcomings here, so I've given it a check mark.
Same goes for Shane vs. Miz, though I do wonder what they'll try to do to keep Shane vs. Miz and Hunter vs. Batista from being too samey. My guess is that Shane and Miz won't go quite as plunder heavy, and instead build up to Shane doing something really stupid dangerous. Still, I'm interested enough in the prosepect of heel Shane, so hesistant check mark.
Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles has probably benefited from being out of focus in the build for Mania, in lieu of all of time on Smackdown being given to Gauntlet matches involving Kofi Kingston. Instead of having them in meaningless tag matches or something, I just go back to the last major thing they did in feud, and that's the great promo duel they did, where they actually remembered the "work" part of the phrase "worked shoot." Sometimes, less is more.
Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio have the makings of a really good grudge match, but Mania is only going to be the first part of that. No checkmark for the match because I don't have many expectations here, but they could sell me on the rest of the feud depending on how well they pull off the obvious angle of Samoa Joe killing Dominik.
Angle vs. Corbin, Balor vs. Lashley, Reigns vs. McIntyre. I hope all the babyfaces just run right through the heels in these matches in short squashes, and the draft sticks The New Local Men as far away from each other as possible. No checkmarks for any of them.
Women's Tag titles doesn't really get much emotion from me either way. There's not much shared history with any of these teams aside from Nia feuding with Sasha and Bayley for seemingly forever, so it really feels like this match could have been randomized, and the fact that The IIconics have only interacted with Sasha and Bayley at all makes them seem incredibly out of place here. No checkmark, but it could still be fun.
Tony Nese vs. Buddy Murphy is an easy yes for me as a 205 Live loyalist, but I do wonder about Nese as a babyface here. On the bright side, Cruiserweights tend to win in their hometowns (or home metro areas, in the case of Tony Nese), while having very good performances in the process.
You know, I could get interested in the ARMBAR, but could you bother telling me who is going to be in the damn thing besides the stupid celebrity angle? No checkmark for me, and it's borderline disgraceful that this is Braun Strowman's Wrestlemania angle.
6/13
Batting just under half of the advertised matches, but here's to hoping that will account for the vast majority of the show itself.

There will be some top guys from Smackdown likely in the battle royal to potentially win. Most prominently, Owens and Andrade.

Kofi/Bryan is by far the biggest leader in this. If you predicted what would be the most anticipated WM35 match say around Rumble time this wouldn't have been one of the options.
