If Yasiel Puig came at me, I'd leap the outfield wall in a single bound, make record time to the hotel, and change my name.

Chris Davis might legit be the worst hitter in history. He's the most automatic out I've ever seen.

Chris Davis has made MLB history. He's broken Eugenio Velez's hitless streak with 47 consecutive at-bats.

The Giants didn’t sign Harper. This is Game 4 of the home schedule. LMAO Geeeeezzzz. That's a MadBum start too, is it not?

If the discussion over free agency ever reaches the point of a work stoppage, all the owners need to do to say that they're averse to handing out long-term, big-money contracts to aging players is point to Chris Davis. He signed a seven-year, $161 million deal back in 2016. Since then, he's hit .199/.295/.389 with 621 strikeouts over 422 games. Davis still has four years and $68 million remaining on a deal that will carry him into his age-36 season. It's the worst contract in baseball history and reason alone for owners and general managers to be hesitant to sign a 30-plus player to a lengthy contract. The Giants didn’t sign Harper. This is Game 4 of the home schedule. LMAO Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Oracle Park deal with some notoriously nasty weather during April and May? The Giants are lousy to begin with, but there's not much of an incentive to attend an early-season game against the Padres when the temperature is in the 50s.

I know it's still early but this roadtrip has been terrible. The Sox held their starting pitchers back during spring training and it shows. Hopefully coming home and getting their rings get them back on track. So much for that. Sale ain't right.

Not just aging players, but a player that isn't going to bring in money. People can crack jokes about the contracts that guys like Trout (who's worth every penny), Bryce Harper, and deGrom sign, and the inevitable big deals that Mookie and Judge will get, but those guys are draws. Nobody's saying "Hey, Chris Davis is playing, let's go to the Orioles game", they are saying that about the players I mentioned. It will only take a couple of years for teams to make the money back on the contracts given to those players.

Which is why it’s so maddening to me the Giants didn’t shell the extra cash out for Bryce when they very clearly had the chance. They’re going to be feeling their non-action for years.

So at this rate, the Yankees' lineup will be Aaron Judge, Glayber Torres, and the roster of Scranton-Wilkes Barre.
