What song do you hate most?

This was hard for me to answer. A most hated song for me can't be one that I'm sick of just because I heard it 100 times too many, it has to be a song that genuinely pisses me off for a specific reason and makes me not want to finish listening to it even once. Unfortunately, the only music I ever hear that doesn't come from my iPod nowadays are on commercials and movies, and unless the movie is a musical, the songs there generally don't play long enough to bother me.


But then I remembered 'Six Foot Seven Foot' by Lil Wayne. Back when I still listened to the radio occasionally I heard this song come on once, and I hated it so much that not only did I turn the station off, but I never listened to that station again for fear that they might play it again. Twenty-five seconds of that ten year old kid on the beat shouting 'ba-bananana-ba-bananana-ba-bananana' was about all I could stand. It was literally the only thing I could focus on. I don't even know what the song was supposed to be about. Hell, Wayne might not have even been rapping, it might have just been 4 straight minutes of ba-bananana-ba-bananana-ba-bananana for all I know!

Now I'm annoyed at the maker of this thread for unintentionally reminding me that this song exists!

I actively avoid karaoke at watering holes because of how sick I am of this and “Friends In Low Places” being sung by drunk frat guys or sorority girls. Even when I was a drunk frat guy and dating a sorority girl I hated it, and that was 10 years ago!

I helped out at a bar a couple of nights a week at one point and one of the nights was karaoke, the bar had regulars who would always pick the same songs, so grew to dislike the following (though I have no problem with the artists output in general)

My local rock stations have stopped playing that particular band after they bailed on a concert in the city - only deciding they didn't want to play when the venue was already full and they got their money. The prohibition may have been lifted since (I did hear them on the air over the Christmas holidays, but that could have just been auto-pilot's fault), but it lasted for a good 5-6 years.

There aren't many songs that put me in rage mode.

However the odd exceptions are

Callum Scott - Dancing on my own... Seriously it's been over 2 years and the Radio at work still plays this piece of shit song.. I can tolerate the Robyn version but this one needs to f*** off forever.

This next one the name actually escapes me as thankfully I haven't heard it in a while, however there was a point where you couldn't escape it.. That Good Girl Hey Hey Hey, song.. I'm in no rush to be reminded what it was.

Also I think Pink is bloody awful.. But that duet sing she did is probably her worse.
