Harper is unbelievably underused.
Him and Dain are two of the best big guys on the roster and neither have really gotten much of an opportunity to do much.
Harper especially whenever they start doing stuff they just stick him back with Bray or Rowan.

I just want Harper doing his thing either in the midcard title scene, maybe a utility main eventer, just something. He's horribly underused right now. Hell, Rowan's great as Bryan's heavy so I wouldn't be against Harper being the right-hand man to Bryan. Rowan can be the bodyguard but Harper can be the guy doing the stuff. Kofi/Harper would be an amazing match. Hell, maybe Harper can go against Bryan, just something. He's misused to the core.

It seems like a really passionate note and I really want to see him pull through and find something.
On the flip side, and I don’t mean to go into this again but...is WWE going to actually do anything about these tweets? Stuff like this, Lana, Rusev, Naomi, Nia...is this the new kayfabe or is this disgruntled employees being allowed to criticise the company publically? Because either way makes them look like shit, frankly.

I think this is another example of the company being ok with this "reality and social media" stuff that started with Ronda and Becky and reports about the company changing things due to that. Maybe they'll see those posts and do something with the superstars now, I'm not sure.

Honestly I can't really see Harper ever really catching on even if they do put him in a position of prominence, if only because the last time he got super over they proceeded to basically deliberately drive it into the ground by leaving him out of the Bray / Orton match when his presence could have done nothing but improve it then having him disappear for months then having him have a boring feud with Rowan then having him disappear for months.

Like, I can get that to an extent but it’d be like if a bunch of employees broke NDAs and talked about how awful the set of Game of Thrones is and how we’d be hearing about “Red Wedding: Catering, makeup and set design Edition” because...that’s f***ing would be what happens. Nobody is going to keep an employee that hates their job constantly on the payroll to make everyone else around them feel like crap. I’m not even saying that is the case, they could be laughing to the Bank, but it doesn’t make me feel optimistic about stuff if the big angle for Naomi is snidely saying “Well, you might cancel the battle royale like you did our four way” when we all know there’s going to be nothing about that on TV.

That said I agree with the guy. He's fantastic and has shown flashes of brilliance whenever he's been given half a chance. The guy has proven he's a credible competitor at any level and they just keep throwing him back in a tired tag team. The fact that he's been healthy since February kinda kills me. But on the other hand he might have been lost in the shuffle coming back during Wrestlemania season. Owens just came back and already I'm not even sure what he's up to after his title match.
I really hope they get him on tv after Mania, solo and give him a proper run.

It’s just one of those things, even in this manner, that wouldn’t fly in any other industry without major criticism or some kind of statement from the people in charge.

Harper's the kind of guy that's going to be forced to be in the right place at the right time to get over. He's going to have to be given a Kofi-like situation. They're going to have to luck into his push because outside of that, he's not getting one. Personally I'd make Harper an upper midcard monster just wrecking guys until he becomes the big tall crazy WWE Champion only to be defeated by someone small like I don't know, Ali but that's just me. Like, I can get that to an extent but it’d be like if a bunch of employees broke NDAs and talked about how awful the set of Game of Thrones is and how we’d be hearing about “Red Wedding: Catering, makeup and set design Edition” because...that’s f***ing would be what happens. Very true and we'll see if there's any sort of backlash towards these comments within the next month or so whether it be the dirtsheets or through booking. Naomi's comments are a good example because if we see her easily eliminated then, yeeeaaahhhhh. I saw a lot of the SDL downtalking their match being canceled the other day too so now with them being thrown into the battle royale, now with the social media comments, it makes you wonder how far they can go because there's surely a limit. Will they see these comments and go "ok, let's use this for fuel to find Charlotte's first opponent for her title?" or will they go "ok, yall gotta knock it off, shit happen?"

Well on the flipside Vince/Hunter could be happy that those wrestlers are not happy in their current spots and want more opportunities since it seems they are hungry for success. Guess depends on what side of the bed Vince wakes up on.

It’s just one of those things, even in this manner, that wouldn’t fly in any other industry without major criticism or some kind of statement from the people in charge. That's definitely fair. I suspect part of the reason it might be more acceptable here is that where you end up on the card is often subject to numerous subjective things and the whims of an old man, whereas in a legit sport you can look to things like goals, assists, touchdowns, tackles, etc to demand a better spot or explain a demotion. In wrestling sometimes it's as simple as none of the writers thought about you so you're not on tv. I can imagine for people who are working as many days a year as these people do, that would cut even deeper than say not getting recognition at a regular day job. Not saying that outright public complaining is acceptable but I can see why the wrestling industry might give it more leeway than other industries.

Sounds like new “working the smarks kayfabe” to me because unlike The Revival and Dillinger, who actually requested to be released, they seem to just tweet about in some weird attempt to be this year’s Becky Lynch or 2011 Zack Ryder.

You’d think they’d have him team up with Bryan and Rowan to take away TNDs number advantage which tbh doesn’t do much for Kofis underdog role.

Heath was getting vocal about his and Rhyno's little storyline getting dropped after the Corbin thing via tweets not that long ago and I can't tell you the last time I've heard about him getting used at live events, much less on TV or even Main Event or something. I was surprised to see him listed for the Andre.

As people have already said, Harper is criminally underused. They should just have him come out and say that he was under mind control by Bray Wyatt, give him back his first name (or hell, give him a new name, say Harper was a name Bray gave him), and have him be a hard hitting ex truck driver, or something like that.

Why do the WWE push Corbin when Harper does everything he can do but better?

Why do the WWE push Corbin when Harper does everything he can do but better? I guess because Corbin is younger and Harper's been out with injuries regularly enough that it might give them pause.
