Jake also said that after he slapped Liz that Liz's grandparents refused to let Randy in their house because he failed to protect her. They wouldn't let him back in the house until after he kicked Jake's ass. Jake it’s fake. Liz worked with Savage since the icw days, they knew it was fake. Just admit it’s fake Jake.

Unfortunately that’s something Randy would do. f***er was intense and paranoid. He beat the f*** out of Bill Dundee because Dundee had a pair of tights that read “Macho Man”. Jim Cornette just told that Bill Dundee / Randy Savage story on his newest podcast. I need to hear this week’s episode, he mentioned the story before but never went deep with it.

I was assuming it was about Randy not smarting Liz's family up and having to deal with them being pissed off.

Jake made a claim that Savage came up to him backstage before the Cobra incident and asked him if the cobra was "fixed" (in reference to being devenomized.) Jake was like "yeah, it's a king cobra, of course it's fixed." Randy responded with "Maybe it is and maybe it isn't," and insinuated that Roberts may have wanted to get Randy. He then claims that he wasn't gonna do the angle unless Jake had the snake bite him first. Jake claims that he rolled his pant leg up, let the snake bite him and then Randy sat there for 20 minutes asking him if he was okay and making sure he didn't take any kind of medication following the bite. Jake then states that when they went out there he was so pissed about it that he slapped the snake to really piss it off and then couldn't pull it off Randy. That's when Vince sent Elizabeth out there because he said enough was enough. I went to Jake’s live show in October and he said their feud was over the IC title, he said the same thing when he went on Joe Rogan. It really made me mad both times. Given what decades of drug abuse probably did to his brain, I can forgive something small like that. 99% of the time he seems pretty spot on.

Show is a cool watch, but at the risk of sounding like an old man..the music is too f***in’ loud!

Wish they hadn’t put Linda Bollea in that episode.

What's sadder (and wasnt touched upon) is that when Liz left Savage, she tried to distance herself away from wrestling at first. She briefly did some broadcasting work for ESPN, but then started working at a fashion boutique. I dont know why she came back.

I’ve seen the Bruiser Brody episode. It’s up on my Comcast OnDemand service. His wife and son appear. Tony Atlas was a witness to the stabbing and he goes heavy into detail about that night and events surrounding it. It’s pretty hard to watch. The Savage and Liz episode while sad at times had a lot of fun nostalgia. This episode is quite a bit darker.

Bischoff offered her a lot of money to pretty much just stand outside the ring.

I recall Savio Vega telling a chilling story about how after Brody's stabbing Jose Gonzales saw Tony Atlas talking (through a translator) to the police and basically said "What's gonna happen to this SOB, does he want the same thing to happen to him?"
The Brody murder in general might be the most triumphant example of scum people in wrestling get away with horrific stuff.

I have a bigger problem with Abdullah the Butcher in the scenario but I’m not going into it until the show actually airs. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone interested.

Still that was a bitch move from Tony to go back, so with Abdullah and Dutch Mantell. But maybe Brody would’ve also returned?

I don't want to judge Tony too bad, just since wasn't he in dire straits in that period? I do remember that he ended up losing most of his money from his peak, if not all of it, due to crumbling under the pressure. I get if the guy just didn't have many options.

Watched the Brody episode. It was good. But nothing new in it if you read the Brody book and seen shoots with Carlos,Dutch or Atlas.
According to a certain NYC based wrestling "journalist" Vice is doing at least 2 more episodes. One will be about Dino Bravo. Hope this "journalist" isn't being worked.

According to Meltzer, there’s 4 more already in the can for a second season if the ratings continue to do well.
