No. WWE needs to be in complete fan service mode. Kofi, Seth and Becky all need to win on Sunday. Absolutely. All three of them need to win, and I'll happily throw all the other babyfaces on the fire to make it happen.

Kofi shouldn’t win the title.
He’s boring and has no main event qualities.

Kofi shouldn’t win the title. He’s boring and has no main event qualities. Part of the most over stable there's been in a long time, crowd pops for his moveset and has done for years. Crowd reacts to him on the mic, and has done more than ever recently. He's also fresh as a main event player. He;s proven he can do the "serious" stuff in this run and feuding with the Usos. "I do not want" does not equate to "this should not happen".

If people don't think that Kofi is a main eventer after Elimination Chamber and those gauntlet matches then that's just their dislike of who Kofi is as a character. This is wrestling. The crowd is behind him. His peers are behind him. The office is behind him. He's got the skills, mic work and credibility for it too. Now he's got the story and the chance for it.
At this point its a "I just don't think he is-" type of thing without any proof.

Kofi's not exactly my cup of tea, Big E guy myself, but when someone is this over you gotta roll with it. It really sucks since it screws KO out of his moment according to reports but they'd be (even bigger) fools not to run with him. You cannot Bobby Roode this, give Kofi the win with the crowd with him and move on in a few weeks or something.

I wasn't really into the idea of Kofi winning the Rumble like so many here were because I didn't get it, but the last couple months have shown me that you all were onto something here. He deserves it and I'm happy for him and his fans. Kofi coming this far to lose at WM or win and lose it on the next SDL would be some bullshit. I hope he at LEAST gets a three month reign.

I'd be ok with a 2 month reign. What I want is for Kofi to eventually go heel just to see Ali take him down given their history but either way he's gotta win. There were reports that they didn't have anyone scheduled for Bryan before coming up with Owens a few weeks prior to the Kofi thing, the fact they didn't have anything says a lot. Everyone's putting their all into this storyline so for Kofi to fail, that would be heartbreaking.

No, because despite all the jokes, this company is not run like TNA.

I’m sure if they had somebody like Tyler Breeze run a gauntlet and beat 5 guys, the crowd would get behind him too. Remember, Kofi is this over BECAUSE of the gauntlet. Yes, he was over before. Yes, the New Day were over... but this ‘’main event” hype, this “give Kofi the title” hype stems from the latest booking. And like I said, most faces on the roster would get that reaction if given that “beat every heel on the roster in one hour” booking.

How someone gets over doesn't determine if that's why they're main event level or not because it's due to a lot of different factors. Kofi's got the overness, he's got the accolades, he's got the in-ring skills, he's got the mic skills, he's the moveset, he can make his opponent look great, he's got the story, he's got everything you want in a main eventer and actually there's main eventers who don't even have half of what Kofi has. There's really nothing he's lacking in "what it means to be a main eventer." Yeah people might like Big E, people might think others have a better "main event look" but that doesn't mean Kofi shouldn't be a main eventer let alone given everything he's done these past 10 years. What's he lacking?

Honestly at this point they pretty much have to give Kofi the title at Mania. They've pumped out four different shirts relating to his Mania chase at this point, those things are going to have a limited shelf life as it is and they're going to outright crater in terms of sales if he loses. Especially since if my experience with Mania 33 is any indication a lot of people do a post-show rush for merch.

I dislike The Walking Dead. I don’t see what is entertaining about it and I find it boring. I don’t go around saying it should be cancelled though, because the ratings clearly show that people are into it. Kofi is similar, just because you’re not feeling him doesn’t mean he isn’t extremely popular and deserving of a run with the belt.

I however want something else. If Kofi wins the title because he’s getting pops, What about Strowman, Joe, Balor and others who failed to win the title? None of those won. What makes Kofi so special? On top of that, I just want Bryan to have a longer reign. Whoever wins the title should be setting it on fire and Kofi ain’t that guy. I would like Rollins to “burn it down” after getting traded to Smackdown.

Ever since folk on here reminded me of Faarooq/Taker, I've been sure Kofi loses. That, Booker, now, it's what they do: bring up the race card and then ram it home with the wrong guy winning. Kofi NEEDS the win, but WWE feel that tone deaf. I mean did anyone really think Faarooq was going to win that match???

He is consistently getting cheered and anytime Bryan is out there Kofi chants start up. You strike while the iron hot. Kofi is special because he is actually getting fans into his story. Like, you mention Rollins and compared to Kofi right now that dude is colder than a bucket of ice.

Which proves my point that it could be anyone.

WWE should have struck while Seth was hot then too. They didn’t and now he has cooled off. Same thing with Braun, Balor and Joe, who you also listed. My point is Kofi should win because, regardless of your thoughts on if he “deserves” it. The company needs to start getting behind people when the fans are clearly into them.
