...and WrestleMania just ended.
They’ve got to do something about these absurdly-long WrestleManias. I don’t know if it’s splitting the show over two days or just making it so not everyone gets a match, but they’ve got to bring it back down to four hours.
That crowd was totally gassed after the WWE Championship match and there was still almost two hours remaining in the show.

It's so bad. I'm so f***ing tired and I just sat on my ass watching this show. There's always a peak point in the middle too that would be a good closer then the show goes on another 8 hours.

Now imagine if that show was half as good, which is extremely possible since this one was fantastic.
I don't think I can do that again.

I'm exhausted. Show was on the whole great but man, about halfway through Batista / Triple H I just wanted it over with.

Don't worry everyone. If the two day TokyoDome is a success, they'll definitely do a two day Mania soon.
And by that I mean two seventeen match cards.

Beat me to making this thread. Yeah man it’s terrible. I was having a great time up till the Cena and Elias stuff but everything after that just DRAGGED.
I’ve pitched this on here before but they should look at the major music festival model where it’s split up over three nights and toss NXT in there. Takeover can be night one and split the RAW and SmackDown matches over the next two nights.

They had 7 matches too many, several of which had no place on the card to begin with.
Here's an easy solution: air Axxess on the network on Thursday, and put all your Pre-Show matches there. Both Battle Royal matches, the no-stakes matches (ie Cruiserweight and US Belts), they go there for a mini 1-2 hour hype show.

I honestly wouldn't mind if they took the Wrestle Kingdom approach and did it in two days but I imagine that's not cost feasible for them given the stadiums.

For all the folks living overseas, my criticism wasn’t about necessarily what time it is as much as it was to note how LOOOONG the show was. It could have gone from 1 to 8:30 and I’d still be saying it was too much.
It’s hard to put into words a way to say “I love wrestling, but that’s too much wrestling,” without it coming off as snotty. But I love baseball and even I don’t want to sit through a 25-inning slog.

To me the simplest solution is move the start time up two hours. Preshow would start at 3 o'clock eastern, main card at 5 and be done at 10:30.
Who am I kidding, if they move the start up we would get a 7 hour WrestleMania.

It’s a frickin endurance event at this point. I don’t think I can do this live anymore I’m so tired. Fell asleep during HHH v Batista and was dodgy till the end. Enough make it over 2 days please.

Even as a lifelong fan, that's a bit much even for me.

I went to bed mid pre show, woke up in time for Triple H's Jigsaw audition, and by the end of the show I had to get ready to go to work. That's how f***ing long Mania was.

Especially when we're still watching another 10 or so hours of their TV over the rest of the long weekend.

Any longer and it will take more than one week of vacation time to actually go to everything. What I feel they should do is increase the importance of Raw and Smackdown by shifting some of the lower hyped matches to Raw and Smackdown and hyping them as Mania level encounters, and use one multi-man in their place so everyone still gets on the show. They could have done Reigns/Balor/Angle vs. Corbin/Lashley/McIntyre at Mania, and done all three matches on Raw and saved about an hour that way.
