For me, it was definitely Angle losing to Corbin. I had assumed like most people did that they would have the feel-good win for Angle on his way out. It just made the most sense, especially since Corbin was so nasty to Angle during the build and was ultimately somewhat vindicated with a win. I guess I just figured that this company had more respect for Angle than they did to have him go out like that after so many months of being booked to look somewhat pathetic, and I suspect that this was at least partially the reason for the mostly silent crowd during the main event. It felt demoralizing to Angle and it was just a bummer of a booking decision on a mostly great night.
On a side note, I actually felt somewhat vindicated by the IIconics winning, since I had a strong feeling they might win (and I have proof in my prediction post from yesterday). I ultimately went with Bayley and Sasha as the most likely winners, since they had just won the titles and were trying to establish themselves. But I had the IIconics winning at a very close second simply because they were the only true women’s tag team in that match, as in they weren’t just two singles acts that were hastily cobbled together. And so if this company is trying to establish a women’s tag division, then it makes the most sense to put the belts on the actual tag team.

I’d say Kofi and Seth.
With Kofi, I just assumed he got this as a token for all he’s done. I didn’t actually think they’d strap the rocket to him. But, the mad lads did it!
For Seth, I assumed that the set up for the final Curbstomp was just going to lead to an F5 before kicking out or something. I didn’t think that one would be the last, but again, the mad lads did it.
