I watched the whole thing in one sitting (almost never do that) and liked it all apart from the Angle match. Many moments for me.

I don't think I'm going out on a limb by suggesting Kofi winning and the aftermath will go down as one of the greatest moments in Mania - hell, in WWE - history. I totally agree. Not just Wrestlemania but WWE history. It's the 1 thing I will always remember from last night.

That image of Becky holding the belts, as the fireworks go off, will be iconic. That's the sort of image that goes into the Then, Now, Forever montage.
Kofi winning the title, and the celebrations with Xavier and E. The pure, brotherly love they have for each other is something the WWE would do well to recall at every opportunity. And if backstage moments count, then Woods legit crying when he talked about what Kofi's win meant to him.... And then Kofi and E teasing him about it.
The Iiconics celebrating together in the ring.

I'll be the jerk and say The IIconics crying and hugging was an anti-moment for me. I'm pretty sure every heel that ever won a title was personally very happy that they achieved that but most of them managed to stay in character. When The Hart Foundation screwed the Bulldogs out of the tag titles, they didn't weep in each other's arms while the announcers went on about their family bond. They got booed out of the building like heels who cheat their way to a title are supposed to.
Like it's great for them personally and I don't wish them ill or anything, but it was just a glaring moment of "It's all bullshit, follow our Instagram accounts" for me.

Also, Tony Nese going "THIS IS MY WRESTLEMANIA MOMENT!" to no reaction whatsoever was an unintentionally hilarious WM Moment. Ha.

Kofi and Becky were the only legitimate Mania moments for me.
Elias was brilliant again but I wouldn’t say that was a “moment”
Rollins/Brock was anti climactic as hell. That COULD have been a moment if they said anything other than “right, he’s gonna demolish you for about 15 minutes and you’re gonna hit a low blow and 3 stomps for the win...”
Like, who thought that would be a good finish? Give me something else to really put over the fact that you “SLAYED A BEAST”... do a stomp on the chair, put him through a table or two, do something extraordinary. 3 stomps ain’t it.

Shane bravely fending off the advances of a fan who jumped the barricade and threatening bodily harm while Shane was in the middle of a match.
But seriously, its Kofi winning. Nothing else.

Billie Kay was born over a year after Outback Jack made his WWE debut. The only WWE superstar from their country to make the main roster until the IIconics debuted was Nathan Jones, who had eight TV matches as was a byword for an even bigger joke within the wrestling industry than Outback Jack.

My moment? Tangentially Kofi, but came slightly later. They introduce Booker T to guest commentate the US title match... and his eyes were red from crying over Kofi. That hit me almost as much as Kofi actually winning. Just... you think back for Mania 19 and how close he came and what was said during his attempt to get Big Gold. It took fifteen years, but Kofi did what he wasn’t allowed to do - win the World title at WrestleMania. History, time, passion and patience... damn, man, that means more than anything and is just profound beyond words. Holy hell - Kofi is only the second ever African-American WWE champion after The Rock. Booker T and Mark Henry were both World champions.

You’re forgetting about Emma, who got to the main roster in 2014.

The moment that everyone in attendance looked at their watches and realized the final train was leaving in five minutes.

And NONE of them, not until Kofi, won the belt at WrestleMania. Rock lost the belt at all three Manias he defended. Book and Henry had Big Gold, but the reigns were done by the big show. Kofi is special. Attach whatever qualifier you may want, a black man who was viewed as midcarder comedy act at best until six weeks ago walked out of WrestleMania as the champion. That. Is. Special. That is history. THAT is WrestleMania.
