After GCW ran its collective there, I'm now dying for a solid indy or two to run shows at White Eagle Hall, both because I live down the block from it and because it really is a genuinely nice place to see a show, a concert, etc. From what I was told, White Eagles was incredibly expensive to rent, and the only way they could afford it was by having multiple promotions split each day's rent by having so many shows there during Mania weekend. Too expensive to just do a single show at. |
