Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if GoD binned the belts and they became vacant. I really wished they didn't win the belts. Hell, if ROH had to take the belts off VE, for some reason, and put them on a NJPW team, why not EVIL/Sanada? It would've been a nice call back to EVIL's time in ROH as Watanabe, and could've been a decent mini-reign before they lost them back to VE, or probably, to Life Blood.

Eh, it's looking much more to me like GoD is going to play ball, here; maybe they'll lose to the Briscoes on this tour, maybe they won't, but they've been leaning into the whole situation on Twitter in a way that makes it seem, at least to me, like meetings/calls were had, issues were at least slightly ironed out, and maybe Tama and Tanga have kind of been convinced there's money in this if they maintain the air of a shoot around things, just doesn't seem quite as raw as it was right after MSG.

I'm sure GoD was legitimately angry when this all went down, and I wouldn't be surprised if they're still not pleased, but my guess is that money talks in the end.

I'm hoping they lose them to Lethal/Gresham right away. Gresham would look good with some gold, and I think him and Lethal would make a strong team.

I'd welcome it since it's at least not be the Briscoes as tag champs for the 400th time, and it'd keep Lethal away from the world title, given that's also pretty damn tired right now.

Agreed on the Briscoes. I'm not a fan of 360 booking with titles.

Also, I want to see Gresham set up the Lethal Injection with an Octopus Stretch. I think that would be a cool finish for the two to use.

With the recent back and forth videos, it definitely looks like a work and they are playing ball. I doubt there is any legitimate beef between the Briscoes and GoD. Tama did seem legitimately angry about the angle, but the Briscoes aren't booking the shows. Now if they put GoD in the ring with Enzo/Cass that would probably be a bad idea.

That all said, the bad vibes ROH created around their portion of the MSG card are extra harmful now, because some of the cards for this tour look legitimately interesting. Just goes to show what so many people were saying: save the weird booking angles for shows AFTER you've convinced people to give your overall product more of a chance.

For me, I've been amazed at how well ROH does after a controversy. When I heard that AEW was going to be competition, and half their roster jumped, I became more excited about the product than I had in the last couple years, and what changes they were going to make going into the future.

For me, I've been amazed at how well ROH does after a controversy. When I heard that AEW was going to be competition, and half their roster jumped, I became more excited about the product than I had in the last couple years, and what changes they were going to make going into the future.

I don't know if I'd go as far as you, but ROH does seem like they're trying to play less safe and take some chances. I really do help it pays off for them for everyone's sake, even if they still have some major holes to patch, like the Women of Honor division, for instance.
