Honestly, I feel like they cycled through the Shield/Wyatts feud too quickly. Hearing the reaction those six guys got merely being in the same ring together should have told someone that they could have slowed the blow-off. No reason they couldn't have taken months to work through it and get all six more over. Don't forget in 2014, The Shield, white hot as faces, got to take on Corporate Kane and The New Age Outlaws in a squash match at 'Mania, while Bray lost to Jern and he and his crew were made to look like straight up bitches against Cena in that abortion of a cage match a month later. The Shield vs The Wyatt Family should have been on the WM30 card. One of those matches was on Main Event for crying out loud. It was around the time it was more of a notable thing but still!

If WWE have added 6 months to his contract, then he's going to be finally free in May of 2020. And I can't see him being put back on TV any time soon.
So Harper is going to have to spend a full year sitting on the sidelines, all the while the clock ticks on his career. Poor guy.

Remember guys, things will be better when HHH takes over. He's the one that's gonna lead us to the promised land. I mean, I still think he’ll be better, but this is a situation where he can’t just go against what Vince wants and just release people who want out..as dumb as that is, but still. I still think he’ll be better when he’s running it in 10 years..the problem with that in 10 years Harper’ll be close to 50, Sasha will be 37 and Revival will both in their 40s. If anybody was or is a big deal in NXT and give a shit about the quality of their work, but thinks big papa H is gonna save them from grandpa Vince, I think they’re more weary of signing main roster contracts after all of this. For every Elias, Alexa, and Corbin there are 2 Nevilles and Bayleys.

I generally can at least understand the decisions that make them look like dicks, even if I don’t personally agree with them. But the adding six months thing is just being petty, especially considering it’s Luke f***ing Harper. He’s awesome, but he’s not a game changer. And he’s almost 40. This is totally unnecessary, and it doesn’t even make sense from an asshole business move perspective. If they pulled this shit with Dean or some of that level, it would atleast make sense to me. But this is just douchebaggery

They real missed the boat with that one.

Yeah, that definitely makes Hunter look like a dick. Though, it does make me wonder if this isn't just a case of Vince not wanting to admit to Harper's face that he has no intent to push him, so he just passed the buck to Hunter, and Hunter didn't respond because he can't override Vince's decisions.

I guess the only good thing is that Harper won't be in positions to get injured. He can really focus on his health and get in really great shape without the worry of the road schedule. It sucks but he could make the best of it

Take it up with Triple H? For real? Are we gonna pretend Vince doesn’t make every damn decision in that company? Triple H has the talent relations title, and Vince doesn’t wanna be the bad guy, so he says talk to this other guy. The other guy isn’t the one who’s making the decision, he’s the one paid to be the bad guy and tell Harper he’s f***ed.
Maybe Triple H didn’t respond to Harper because he wants to argue the point with Vince first and try to give Harper some good news?

Yeah, he's told to take it up with Trips despite it being reported that Vince was the one who wrote directly to Harper himself saying he wouldn't release him.
