thanks for clearing that up. weird how my mind combined the 2. I remember me and my bro laughing pretty hard at the thought of Heenan traveling with his own toilet paper I believe the idea was he was stealing all that stuff from the hotel/arena because he was a cheapskate. We were little kids. In our minds he traveled with it. lol

I nominate a new contender: Bischoff was literally dragged from the arena via garbage truck on his way out I feel like we can't vote that one or Jericho's one because both of them loved it. In terms of who had the worst segment, Lita. In terms of kayfabe, the Spirit Squad probably had it the roughest, being trapped for weeks in a box in the questionable hands of OPS, but being I always thought being mailed back to OVW was a great gag. I always thought they should have put TNA instead of OVW. Would have been a far worse fate. Wouldn't have been as funny in 2006, when TNA were still hot up-and-comers and had a generation of WWE's future main event working its midcard.

I remember this as the one time Vince said "You're fired!" and then they legitimately released the guy. Faarooq's release in 2004 was a similar sort of thing. At the Smackdown Tuesday taping, he got kayfabe fired by Heyman (with Bradshaw sorta screwing him over, as a way to start his JBL heel turn) - on Wednesday, they legit released him - the firing airs Thursday. Hogan's 1993 sendoff was awkward as hell. Loses to Yoko due to an exploding camera and the WWF Magazine the next month proclaimed Hulkamania dead. No mention of him on TV ever again until they started bashing him in the New Generation promos. Hardly the goodbye / thank you that you think someone of Hulk's level would get. And yet, he'd still be working for Vince into the summer of 1993 on intl house shows. I had no idea Hogan worked those matches in the summer of 93 until maybe a couple years ago. My mind was blown!

Is it really a sendoff if they came back afterwards???
Damn near everyone is saying Lita.......but she came back afterwards did stuff with Heath Slater...got in the HOF, and had a match at the all girls PPV and had a match on RAW after that.....so I don’t consider the HO-sale to have been her send off.

If that Taker match at mania 34 was his last mania match, then that was a pretty shitty send off for Cena

But by that metric almost no wrestlers ever have a send off until they're actually dead.

Bret, by far. Between Montreal, the skit with the little person on RAW, and Vince McMahon’s “Bret screwed Bret” interview, the spitefulness was just off the scale. And how for years they kept reminding everyone about. Repeating screw jobs as angles and every time they where in Montreal there had to been something said. And even then, after repeatedly rehashing the screwjob & mentioning it whenever they were in Canada, they would always tell people to let it go.

If she begged them not to do that, and they agreed, but still did it.. it's quite scummy. When I met her, 2 years ago, she was pretty shy. I found out, that people were STILL giving her hell, over everything that happened.

I moved out of town many years ago. My friends threw me a going away party. I moved back to town after a few years. That doesn't mean the going away party never happened.

I definitely concur with everyone voting for Lita having the worst sendoff. Her character was a bitch and tramp at that time, but she didn’t deserve that kind of treatment retiring from full time competition. Also, Cryme Time sold off her panties and stuff like that. They were always super lame and a great example of Vince’s love of stupid stereotypes. Thank goodness that Lita got to come back and have a better final moment in the sun.
