It just comes across as so fake & forced to me. It’s just not believable with Becky & I don’t believe in it. Stone Cold for instance I genuinely thought was a bad ass with the character he had. Usually the best gimmicks are with the volume turned up to 10 of their real personalities. This just feels like someone forcing themselves into acting a certain way because it sounds cool & it doesn’t feel authentic to me.

I like it, but I was disappointed she went with the "she's sleeping her way to the top" innuendo last night.

I agree with you. There is a huge cosplay vibe with her and it’s very noticeable.

The thing with Austin though is that he pulled off being such an angry, ornery bastard so well because... he kind of WAS one. Dude’s career experiences in WCW had worn away at him and he just had so little time for bullshit that prevented him from getting what was his, and he wasn’t above playing the political games. Lynch is arguably one of the nicest people in the whole company with a well-established dorky sense of humour. Of course it ain’t going to come off as well, but people bought into it so much because they were as legit pissed off about Charlotte or Rousey as she was acting to be. Now she’s on top, punching down to the chasers, and it’s less effective.

As I've said before :
"Becky Balboa" > "Becky McGregor".

Becky's case is curious because she has a big fanbase but that fanbase started supporting her when her character was different. Back when she was a dorky steampunk enthusiast, Becky was able to go toe to toe with the best of the division but she usually fell short. Ever since her return and her taking inspirations from Conor McGregor and other sources in order to change her approach towards things, though, her skills didn't changed. She's as good as she used to be when she was a loser. The big change here is her approach.
Then again, I like to think that a big chunk of Becky's gimmick is based on fear and a sense of inferiority and that shows up in her approach towards the rest now that she's champion. Becky had a tough way to the top, earning her way to the titles, and now she's shaping up to make people fight their way up while mocking them and "dunking" on them because she can. Becky used to be the nail but now she's the hammer and she's more than happy to hammer points through more than she should in order to prove that she's the best.
In shorts, Becky's character is starting to get redundant and it would've been cool to see her dorky self be on top of the mountain instead of dealing with "THE CHAMP CHAMP DOES WHATEVER THE FOOK IT WANTS" nonsense and drilling into our minds that she beat Ronda and Charlotte at WrestleMania.

Now she’s on top, punching down to the chasers, and it’s less effective. But that’s why Austin was so believable. It was him playing an extension of his personality turned up to the max on the volume. Becky as you said is the complete opposite so this whole character just feels so forced & it’s just based on being an act & it just doesn’t work for me personally. I just don’t believe in it. It would be like Sami Zayn or The Miz trying to act like bad ass characters & it wouldn’t work at all because they realistically are not.

I have never been much of a fan of this character, but I am a fan of Becky so I was glad to see her ascend to the to thanks to the character. The whole gimmick just seems really forced to me. Whenever I see her, she reminds me of when Krusty the Clown pulled his hair back into a ponytail, wore a black blazer, and became an edgier comedian.

She's a bit of a bitch but I sort of like it
I think she tries a little too hard with her tough talk that comes across a little corny. However, her as the big dog talking down to people is not where it is at for me. She should be a little more softer but obviously she's on the top of the world but I think her punching people down is not as effective as her punching her way up
If she takes the heel role a little more as champ then i'm fine with it

She needs to get back some of her dorkiness. I still want her to be able to handle her business, when the time comes. But she has definitely lost some of her likability, in my eyes.

So the key to going back to old Becky Lynch is an endorsement deal with Canyonero or a real-world equivalent thereof. Gotcha.

She just needs to find the balance between take on all comers fighting champion and tough guy "rebel".

Yea, her talking down to people like Ember fits only if she is heeling it up a little more but she just comes across as a bitch instead of the take all comers champion
