Sidenote, this game is really easy to platinum. I've never been an achievements guy (the only games I'd 100%ed before this one were the Nonary Games and Steins;Gate Elite) and yet I ended up finishing this one because toward the end of the game I realized I'd done practically everything except meditate at the temple so I went and did that. Where the heck do you get the lottery tickets, though?

So at a clothes site I use called Insert Coin Tees, they have 24 hour sales on stuff and today’s sale is a Persona 5 jacket. Now, with postage, it’ll cost me €90 and I hate spending more than, say, €30 on any one piece of clothing (I got two grab bags and one of them was a Persona 4 Varsity jacket which they don’t sell anymore and looks amazing)...on the other hand... www.insertcoinclothing.com/jackets/joker.htmlLook at that! It looks amazing! And It’s double sided!

I actually have another reason to bump this outside of my first world jacket problem!
So tomorrow, Sega and Atlus will be hosting their Tokyo Game Show event and whilst they will be talking about the new SMT HD remaster announced earlier this year, there are reports we might finally, finally get news on a Western release for Persona 5: Scramble considering the events this year will have either English subtitles or an English version.
I’m not giving up hope, man! Let me have my day!

EDIT: I know it’s probably because it’d have been overshadowed by the console releases and other stuff coming out but damnit, GIVE ME MY SCRAMBLE!

You motherf***ers better not screw this up. RELEASE SCRAMBLE.
Hopefully it's just pandemic-related delays as well as things related to the new console launches. Like a lot of voice actors are doing home recording from basement studio or makeshift closet studios instead of going into a more dedicated studio suite. The recording quality can be a bit... inconsistent.

Well, I might be done with Persona for awhile if they’re not releasing Scramble. I’m playing the original Persona on the Vita, but i’m progressing really slowly and I don’t know if I’ll ever have the motivation to go back and finish Royal. I wore myself out.

I'm still pissed I made a bad decision and locked myself out of the new post game stuff. Is it worth playing through again?

I'm still pissed I made a bad decision and locked myself out of the new post game stuff. Is it worth playing through again? New Game Plus is pretty handy since you get to carry over your money, equipment, social stats, and Persona Compendium from the previous game, as well as a bunch of gameplay perks from maxed out confidants. You also have a better idea of what you're doing in the early game so you can better manage your time for confidants and more efficient dungeon delving (and less time grinding out social stats because they're already built up).
But yeah, if you want the "true" P5 Royal Ending, there's good ending guides without too many spoilers that tell you deadline dates for the specific confidant ranks you want to work on.

I'm assuming that this means it won't come out this fiscal year, but I'm starting to have my own doubts. My other fear is that they half ass it and only translate it next year like PQ2 I haven’t played PQ2, I have it ready to go on my 3DS as a diversion of sorts, but I’d presume it doesn’t have the same sort of voice acting and such as what Scramble is promising, a practical Persona 5 sequel. So I’d think if they were able to get the right VO set ups for actors, it probably at least would have some kind of announcement for release by now. Some of this I want to put on COVID since it did force a lot of actors to work from home but also just the fact that considering how well Royal did, there’s no good reason to stumble that and put out something mediocre. That’s just my logic on it, I could be utterly wrong.

Honestly Koei Tecmo not mentioning it doesn't really mean anything because Atlus would be the ones distributing it.
That said though, yeah, I can only imagine that the delay is due to COVID. There's no other reason for this to not be out by now.

The Asian English releases are almost always identical to North American releases, so this is a really good sign if we don't get Scramble that exact date, we get it around the same timeframe.
