It really isn't helping my feeling with this whole stupid thing that I hate the idea of them as a tag team to begin with. It's blatantly just being done because of their nationality and the whole thing reeks of Vince losing interest in Asuka and having none to start with in Kairi so just let them rot in the tag division that WWE's clearly already stopped caring about.

Is it really that? Jesus. Nothing about them is related to Kabuki. Hell, Asuka's mask is a freakin' Noh mask, which comes from an older and much different form of Japanese theater. I should really stop being surprised by WWE's casual racism towards its Japanese workers but yet here I am. This is the same company that had those oversized takeout boxes when they had those two episodes of RAW and SmackDown in Japan taped in 2005. That's synonymous with Chinese food! |

This is the company that gives every Hispanic wrestler Mexican sounding entrance music. Hell, for the longest time they gave black men hip hop themes, white men rock themes, and women pop themes. This company is so behind the times it's beyond ridiculous. Got to assume AJ’s theme was his own idea and a grumbling Vince reluctantly cancelled the banjos he’d sent to the CFO$ studio. |

See if it was Asuka and Io as a team I actually get it. Like obviously Vince would have only paired them up because they’re Japanese, but Asuka(as Kana) did in fact team with Io in Japan(it was actually a trio of Asuka/Kana, Io, and Io’s sister Mio), so there’s actual history there. |
