Just cast Tom Selleck as Magnum PI and Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones in the same movie, and you've got the only Rescue Rangers live action movie you'll ever need..

Hmm, you know, cast Harrison Ford to voice Chip, Tom Selleck to voice Dale, Paul Hogan to voice Monterey Jack, Kari Byron to voice Gadget...

Update: I didn't get to as she was gone by the time I got there.

And just seeing that in-name-only...thing to air on Disney+ makes me see this project as the lesser of two evils.

One time I found this really cool Rescue Ranger fan comic where Gadget was trained to spy for the government. The art was really sharp and expressive, and it "grew up" the RR premise without making it too dark. It would have made a great basis for a feature film IMO. I remember that comic. Fond memories of collecting it back in 2005. The lack of Fat Cat in it dissapointed me.

Can't say I was a big fan of the Chip/Gadget stuff either, though it is admittedly very well written and sweet. I was more a Dale/Gadget fan.
