Mean Gene and Gorilla Monsoon were pretty terrible. Well, Mean Gene and almost anyone.

Putting together Jim Ross and Jesse Ventura seemed like a good idea at the time

I liked Terry Funk and Chris Cruise on WCW Worldwide. You could tell they were good friends.

Really liked the Dave Prazak/Lenny Leonard combo for the glory days of ROH.

Putting together Jim Ross and Jesse Ventura seemed like a good idea at the time I was gonna say that on paper, Ross and Ventura is a great pairing, but they had no chemistry whatsoever.

I think Lord Alfred Hayes was pretty horrid on commentary, particularly with Sean Mooney. But he and Gorilla Monsoon always made a good team. It was like two old friends who knew what it was like between the ropes shooting the shit while watching some wrestling matches.

Not the main PBP or colour, but just someone there to add little bits of analysis.

Pete Doherty could make any commentary team terrible. I was about to post about him-who in the hell thought it was a good idea to put him on commentary? He just yelled and raved for the most part

Pete Doherty could make any commentary team terrible. That reminds me of when the WWE ran house shows and televised them in the local markets. When they went to Houston the commentary team was Bruce Pritchard, before he was Brother Love, Doherty and future ring announcer Mike McGuirk. Doherty sounded like Gilbert Gottfried trying to be tough. Pritchard and McGuirk were OK in their roles but Doherty was awful.

Striker and Todd were stellar on Smackdown. Just perfect chemistry that gave the show such a unique feel. Revisiting 92 Superstars, McMahon and Perfect were great. As were JR and Perfect in 96. Didnt Striker and Todd work together in the 2009 version of ECW?But I agree they were pretty good together, seemed very friendly and just HAVING FUN,MAGGLE.Sorry felt appropiate

Rob Bartlett, Vince McMahon and Randy Savage was awful. Not even Bobby Heenan could make Bartlett good.

I do like that 1 one WM match Lord Alfred got to call (Rockers/Faces of Fear at WM7) was alongside Gorilla. I liked Lord Alfred, for the most part. I guess I'm just a product of that WWF era and learned to accept anything given to me at the time.. Pete Doherty could make any commentary team terrible. I was about to post about him-who in the hell thought it was a good idea to put him on commentary? He was local to the area and I didn't think he did much for the WWF outside MA & RI & maybe CT...

I'll up Tazz and Cole as well, but for Tazz instead of Cole. Tazz with anyone else, especially in TNA, was freaking terrible. came in to post this. during their time together on WWECW, Joey always sounded like he'd rather be working with literally anyone else. JR/Lawler is always a good one, but without Jim to reign him in, Jerry would just turn into the most obnoxious ass. my favorite was JR/Heyman. too good to last, I guess.

Rockers vs. Haku/Barbarian had Jim Duggan on color commentary. On that subject, I loved his "Woah!!!!!" reaction to Andre showing up.
