So Rusev is at the bargaining stage of his WWE career now. "Yeah, it sucks and I'm miserable, but at least I got to wrestle some legends of the business, and the Undertaker thinks I'm good at this."
Can't blame him really, when his boss can't see him as anything other than a foreign heel gimmick.

That's a great endorsement that carries a ton of weight. A decade ago, it would have gotten Rusev some sweet matches and high spots on the card. But Undertaker's not around full time, so he's not backstage to keep plugging for the guys he likes, so Vince probably forgot this immediately after being told.

What does he know. Who’d he ever beat?

Yeah, a decade ago it at least would've promised Rusev a spot akin to Mr. Kennedy's on Smackdown or CM Punk's when he was on Smackdown. Now though...well, it's still a nice thing to hear, innit?

Also a decade ago Vince was more willing to accept that he was wrong... and that people should be in different positions than he originally thought.

Then sent Rusev a pic of his balls That's Undertaker's way of showing you he's REALLY high on you.

It was such a well-booked match, too. Probably the only Taker match since that one Lesnar rematch that I felt did some sort of justice to him. They need to have Taker work with guys who aren't his own age, because you can still do Taker/Rollins, Taker/Strowman, Taker/Black, Taker/Andrade, Taker/Balor, and a few others and get a marketable match out of it. I'd do Taker/Andrade on the Fox Smackdown premiere since that sounds more like a tv match, but these other matches could be how Taker goes out instead of constantly wrestling old people that showcase dual weaknesses.

What's this? Put an aging talent who can't quite command the ring like he used to anymore in there with guys that can and are either in their prime or close to it like wrestling promotions have done since the dawn of the media practically? Madness. Now get me Nash's number. We got to get the ball rolling on Taker's next match after this Goldberg one.

That's one hell of an endorsement. Sucks that hardly anyone in WWE management feels the same way. see I don't think it's that they don't think he's good... it's just that the person in charge refuses to change his opinion on where you belong on the card.... and is also incompetent "If I gave him a chance, I'd have to give Asuka one too, and where would that leave Corbin"?

I’m gonna have to respectfully disagree with Taker on that one.
