Eh. Admittedly I barely watch, but the guy is so unlikeable. He won the belt by kicking a guy in the balls. He is the baby face right? Yet hitting aj in the balls turned shinsuke heel. Go figure

Go figure Austin and Rock were enormous heels, Hogan too, and they were still babyfaces. Like, especially nowadays, this shit has never been 100% black hats and white hats.

Nak/AJ was a little different because Nak did it after the match, which AJ won cleanly. Total dick move. I believe Brock attacked Seth before the opening bell even rang, so eh, f*** it. I don't mind a face getting dirty in that situation.

Yep you are.
I'm cool with cheering for Rollins if he's on his "lemme just be that dude kicking ass and not giving a shit" tip. He isn't great as a fully healed goody two shoes face. He's great when he's in that wheelhouse where he was IC Champion and he cheated at times to win because it got the job done. It's the same as against Lesnar at WM. He had reason to hit dude in the balls but doing it to Lesnar just made sense because that's what he does.
Rollins basically needs to be that lovable "I'll do whatever it takes to win" type face with an edge and he's perfect.

Same dude who got his ass kicked by Finn at the Rumble, got a lucky submission win, and then assaulted him after the match.

Dude, he first kicked Lesnar in the balls the week before Mania for no reason. Seth is a straight up bitch. it's Brock, I'ma have a hard time feeling sorry for him either way. But it's bad when the best pro argument fans can come up with is just based on personal bias. It's why none of these faces ever get over anymore. They all act like assholes, but then everyone just shrugs and agrees that's just how things are now. Seth isn't The Rock, or any other OTT character you might expect to take some shortcuts. He's meant to be the honest and hard working company guy, yet he wins the belt by kicking a guy in the balls. It's a contradiction.

They need facets to their character. Have rollins do the hand slapping good guy schtick, but also have it be known by other wrestlers and shown that if you cross him, or he can obtain something , he will sell you out or double cross you. Its a huge fault, nobody is perfect, but personality wise he isnt a dick he's just extremely weak to money/opportunity. Perhaps have his weakness be because he's from a small town in Idaho and wants more than that for his own going forward. Edit: and play off his architect mastermind gimmick, have his betrayals/revenge be these methodical machinations, making most weigh risk of asking this slightly unstable guy for help. Over time have him think some are seeking revenge for his ways, guilt causes him to be paranoid and starts betraying people before they can him. But not every time, really play up the crumbling grasp on reality from overwhelming guilt to maintain this lifestyle when he was happiest just being a small town boy. I would love to see this depth of character in wrestling. Why can't it be done?

Can't stand him as a face, but people like him so what the hell do I know? I think the Beast Slayer nickname is stupid when he used a low blow to set up his win. Like, save that for when Seth just kicks the shit out of Brock straight up. He was made to look like a goof that entire run up to Wrestlemania and the way he won just continued that. Regardless of Brock's actions.
