Double or Nothing is this weekend and I believe the biggest story is the mystery of who will win the Casino Battle Royal. As announced yesterday, the winner of the battle royal will face the winner of the Jericho/Omega match to determine the first ever AEW World Champion.
I do not think the winner will be any of the 17 announced participants. None of those people have the marquee name to really make the match feel big time. I think the odds on favorite would have to be Dean Ambrose/Jon Moxley. He is currently filming a movie but that doesn’t mean he is unable to get a day off. Moxley vs Omega is a match that no one has seen, while also appealing to both hardcore fans and WWE casuals.
However, for whatever reason, I do not think it is him. I think he will end up in AEW but it almost seems too obvious. That’s not a bad thing if it does happen.
My guess? What is Okada up to this weekend?

My biggest shock, by looking at the card for the first time, is Aja Kong still wrestles in 2019.
As for the battle royal, I'd be down to see Tanahashi vs Jericho, so I got Tanahashi winning, if he signs that is.

I’d be shocked if it wasn’t Hangman Page.

I think the winner will end up facing Jericho for the title and losing so a face makes sense. Probably have Jericho hold on until their big show after the TNT debut so they can build him up. Page could be that guy but it seems like a lot to do in a short time, plus it'd make it seem like this just exists as a vanity project for the Elite.
I can see this being a surprise entrant while they build up Page. Think I'll go with that.

Page may win the battle royal if they decide to have him wrestle that since he not having the match with PAC anymore. Unless they have Moxley debut against Page which would be hard to have him come in as a heel.

They clearly have big plans for Page but since the PAC match didn't have a real finish, that kinda took some of the wind out of his sails. Don't see it being him here.
MJF is an obvious favorite but don't think it'll be him either. I'm actually gonna throw Joey Janela out there as my pick. Young, charismatic, clearly understands the art of the hustle, exactly the kinda guy I would build around.

Maybe Page if they think PAC may be a challenger they could dust off down the line if he's dropped the Dragon's Gate title by then and they aren't upset with him.
Though, I wonder who would have already been set to win prior to this whole mess.

And I've got Moxley winning it, helps establish AEW as legit on TV going into the show

Probably one of the mystery ones. Someone we’ve suspected or someone that comes out of left field.
I’ll mark if MJF wins.

I just think they have MJF eventually doing something with Cody, so I don't think he wins. It just seems like Page, but my feeling is that's so obvious that it won't be him.

Honestly, a guy in a mask and bodysuit. That way, they can fuel rumors. "Was it CM Punk? Was it John Moxley? Was it Adam Page? Was it blah blah blah?"

"Playing the role of 'PAC' tonight... Sean Waltman! But, I'm afraid I've got some GOOD News!"
It'll be Stu Sanders/Bennett.

I thought it was going to be MJF until they had to change the stipulation from just a title shot at a time/place TBA to the main event of All In 2.
